TLDR: This place is great. Clean on the inside, staff are very friendly and food is pretty good considering it's fast food. So... lets talk about food... I went all out on this order I wanted to try everything and give my honest opinion. This was a firstvisit for me and my husband. I ordered: the Philly cheese steak with all fixings large, 6 bone in wings (mango habanero),gourmet fries (nacho cheese and bacon) and a reg. Size drink (coke). My husband ordered the Bacon Philly cheese steak and a 4pboneless wing (reg buffalo sauce). Cheese steaks were amazing. The large is a ft long, reg is 9" and small is 6". The peppersand onions are cooked with the steak so they are soft and caramelized on your sandwhich. The Bacon cheese steak was great aswell with at least 4 slices of bacon. Wings Bonein comes out to about 1.60 per wing. I got a 6 at 9.99 with one saucing.Personally the sauce was weak (mango habanero) but these wings are so good. Cooked to perfection. The boneless wings were evenbetter. Although many ppl agree it's just a nugget these were actually better than the bone in. I will order these instead nexttime. Fries It's going to be a hard pass on the gourmet fries. They simply have nacho cheese and bacon bits sprinkled on top.It didn't taste like fresh bacon it seemed more like the Bacon crumbles you but on a salad. For the price of the fries thiswasn't it. Price This is the big one. I'm going to say, first I ordered way to much food. A normal order would be about $15 perperson. I spent $51. And while that is quiet a lot it was worth it. My meal alone was about 30 bucks. But my husband only had adrink, sandwhich and 4 boneless wings and his meal was 20. So this gets $$ for price as it should be. Took 4 times to get my sandwich and order right. Ordered a regular sandwich and fries, got charged for combo meal. After... realizing they charged me for the comb, I went up to get a drink cup. Then after receiving my sandwich it was the wrong size.Took it up to get the right size sandwich and all they did was add the veggies which I had asked them to leave off from thestart. Took it back up do to still not being the right size sandwich and after that got the right size but with everything onit!! Back up to have it all removed. So they just don't read the order slips. My sandwich was warm. Not hot. Too much meat and not enough cheese. The young lady that took My order could have been a bit more... customer friendly. It was My first and by far the worst Philly cheese steak I've ever eaten. I didn't even finish it, it was sobad. Never went back, not because of the service (everyone has an off day) but because of the food. Charley?s just opened at this location. After living 8 years in Phillie, I had my first cheesesteak at this location with great... expectation. It was very good and true to the Phillie tradition of making these steaks. The roll was soft, the steak wasdelicious and the onions and provolone made this item well done. An added bonus that you wouldn?t find on a street vendor cartin Philadelphia is nice French fries. Dare I might say: The were McDonalds- like.
