Reviews for Silver Salmon Grille in Astoria, OR
Warm, friendly, professional staff. We were lucky to snag a table for two without a reservation. The chowder is undoubtedly the... best chowder we have ever had. Creamy, well seasoned, great flavors and balance. Pair it with these cheese bread and it?s evenmore outstanding. We also enjoyed the pan fried oysters and tortellini with blackened salmon, everything was truly delicious.Thank you to our server Clark, and compliments to the entire team! Read more
A local referred us here. They have some of the best clam chowder I've ever had. The restaurant was clean and the staff was... super friendly. The salmon and the crab and bacon macaroni and cheese was amazing. Next time we're in town we'll be stopping byfor sure. Read more
Started out with a new dish to me. Deep fried artichoke hearts. Definitely would try again. Ambiance delightful. We had a... corner table where it was easy to have a conversation with Chef John who suggested we have the special of halibut. Prepared witha creole twist. Loved it. Located downtown, it is lovely spot to enjoy the fruits of the ocean. Read more
Beautiful interior space with lovely art about the place. We stopped in for lunch on a Friday afternoon and we each tried a cup... of their clam chowder (which was excellent)! I ordered the Cajun steak Tips with garlic shoestring fries and a side salad(which was AWESOME) and hubs had a French Dip sandwich with garlic fries. This is one of the best meals we've had in quite sometime! The Cajun Steak Tips were so good that we want to come back and my husband is going to order them and I want to have itagain! Service was great! Fresh brewed ice tea was wonderful as well. We shared a Brownie with Hazelnuts a la mode fordessert - also delicious! Would highly recommend! Read more

We had visited the Sunday Farmers Market & wanted to grab a bite before heading home?about a 2hr drive west. We had eaten here... before & were pleased so we decided to do it again. It didn?t disappoint - it was too busy & we got a table for two right away.We ordered food & drinks at the same time. Drinks arrived & food wasn?t that far behind. Our waitress was attentive & quick.Food was what we had expected. The burger had great flavor & the Cuban as well. The coleslaw was also yummy & was added to theCuban itself. Had to get dessert - carrot cake to go but then we decided to share the peanut butter chocolate pie dessert beforeleaving?that was a terrible idea (lol) as we had no room for it all but we got it handled. Overall an excellent option for foodif wondering the streets of Astoria. Read more

I had the silver salmon, which was fresh and cooked just right. They have a good seafood menu and interesting... cocktails. Service was prompt and friendly, no complaints here at all. There's an interesting mural in the men's room (MarilynMonroe and Elvis). Lots of character in the decor all over. Read more
