Reviews for Peter Pan Market & Deli in Astoria, OR
Since new ownership took over during the Covid-19 pandemic, this place is the bee's knees. Great spot for an afternoon pint.... Some good deli food, too. And there's a surprisingly eclectic variety of beverages and food on stock in the store. Read more
What a great spot! We were roadtripping around the peninsula, and came into Astoria about lunchtime. Was coming up the hill... when we found this spot. Beautiful view, the food and beer was delicious! The staff was super sweet, and even the logo t-shirtsthey have are great! Super soft. A great place to stop for a bite and a beer. Read more
Love love love the sandwiches! The potato salad isn't my fav but the Hawaiian macaroni salad is bomb! The coffee and carrot cake... is a divine dessert. Enjoy the local yummy and know that many locals grew up and know of Peter Pan Market. I remember gettingcandy from here after earning quarters for doing chores and going to the park. This place is still as good as it once ways andstill as small and cute! Adore it very much. Read more
I think they have the best homemade macaroni salad and potato salad and I thought the new owner was using the same recipes. I... used to go there just for the the macaroni salad. I haven't been there since new owners 2-3 years ago. They are usually busy atlunch. Read more
Nice little store with good food and drinks that can be consumed on-site either in their cozy indoor or outdoor seating... areas. Sadly, the Green New Deal sandwich is not that much of a good deal. I'd expect much more for such a name and price. Iexpected vegetables but looked more like traces of onion with cucumber. As a vegan, I'd expect the usual lettuce and tomato tooas minimum. Very pricey for what we got. Some of the cheaper meat sandwiches come with more veggies. Make sure to get yourscones on Mondays. That's when they're fresh and deliciously. They get dryer and harder each day beyond that until they'resold out. Sadly, the price is fixed throughout the week whereas they should get cheaper and cheaper each day till they're allgone. This little market is so cute but it's also pricey. They've got basic necessities like tp and bread, but very little selection.... It's mostly local and specialty items, which I appreciate even if the prices seem a bit steep. The staff was really friendly andthe deli made me a delicious sandwich and mimosa. It was a very pleasant place to hang out, eat, and watch the rain. $9 for amoderately sized sunrise mimosa seems a bit much to me but I'm guessing it's to cover high quality ingredients and the wages ofthe wonderful staff. The wine selection was very impressive. Read more
It's a little on the pricey side for the portion sizes but the flavors are excellent and the service is great. They are all... following mask guidelines. There's usually parking out front and seating inside or on the covered outside area. There's a wideselection of drinks and snacks inside too. I'll definitely be back to try another sandwich.
