First time I went here I would?ve given a 1 star. Food was bland and frankly not good. I didn?t wanna go back but my fiancé... wanted to try again so we did. Second time I would give a 4 star because the food was good especially dessert and the mozzarellabites. He liked his frog legs and gator tail too. The prices were reasonable. I did try to order the appetizer on the sign outfront and they said they stopped serving that. So I went to order something else on the sign and they said they stopped servingthat a while ago too. Well then please take the sign down and stop advertising foods you do not serve. It took us a while toorder because the three items I wanted weren?t served anymore. I wound up getting the quesadilla and that was okay. I would givea three star but they had live music which was actually pretty good so I?ll give a 4 star for it and the server we had was nice. So I drive by this place fairly often when I go for Sunday ride and I have always seen the sign that says best burger in... town......... Well I have to say after that sign is an understatement it should change it to best burger in Florida. I got acheeseburger with provolone and french fries and the burger and the fries were both perfect. The fries had skin on them and theywere not greasy definitely homemade. The burger was juicy and had just the perfect char grill taste to it. The bread was freshand the cheese melted and was stringy and was so good. Definitely worth the stop anytime I pass by kind of disappointed I didn'tstop sooner Read more

We were heading home from ormond beach and decided to stop here. So glad we did! Cute, clean place with friendly staff. Ashley... took care of us. She was great! We basically tried half the menu! Started with escargot and crab cakes. Both were very good!We had to try their famous burger, and it's definitely worth the name of best burger! I got the anchor chicken with collardgreens and mac n cheese. All good, but mac n cheese could have had more flavor. Very creamy just not much flavor. Also got aside of shrimp scampi. Oh and the lobster bisque was delicious! Loaded with lobster! Needless to say, we will be eating ourleftovers for a few meals! We will come back!! Read more

Got an AirBnB for a fun boating weekend & saw the good reviews so we decided to have dinner here and boy, it did not disappoint!... Busy night but the service was fast & friendly. Ordered the clam strips as an appetizer, the steak/shrimp special and the clubsandwich. Food was delicious and the rum/cokes were STRONG! Had a guitar player warming up while the Gators were trying to eeekout a win against Alabama. Fun, family atmosphere - highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area! Read more

This laid back little restaurant in Astor I had some of the best seafood I've had in a while. I had a fisherman's plate that had... fish shrimp scampi fully loaded baked potato and snow crab legs The crab legs were fresh and crisp when you broke into them notsoggy and rubbery which is a special treat because that's the way you get them in most places. My wife shrimp dinner with fishwas excellent fried to perfection not greasy. Our waitress Jo-jo was attentive funny and full of exuberance this place remindedme of a place in somewhere in the Florida keys. For dessert I had their strawberry rhubarb pie that they serve warm! which wasdecadent so good. They have a full bar and serve many beers on tap Friday Saturdays and Sunday they have a prime rib from smallto large cuts same as steaks will definitely go back for some of those and they also have live entertainment on the weekends. Ibelieve they open 12:00 to 9:00 except Wednesdays which are closed check on the hours though. This will be a go-to spot if Iever on my way to Daytona It's right on silver springs boulevard just before the bridge and Astor well worth the stop. PS! Oneof the best clam chowders I've eaten creamy full of clams not chewy That's another thing that I wouldn't miss out on if you camehere order it you won't be disappointed Read more
