Love the beet salad. Waitress split the salad and main pasta dish for me and my 3 year old - that was really nice service. The... flourless chocolate cake (served with almond ice cream and raspberries) is a must-try. Go after a hike at the Waterton Canyon 3minutes away. :) Read more
Excellent experience overall. Lovely dining room. Perfect service. Nice ambiance although a tad noisy- had to hear a very high... maintenance diner delineate his special diet needs ad nauseam (Aspen!). I had the raddichio salad which was lovely with ascrumptious vinaigrette. Then the pasta dish with lamb which was a large portion and a bit on the heavy side but deliciousnonetheless. The dessert was lovely as well. Overall this met my expectations. Superbly prepared and presented. The menudidn’t quite meet my expectations but there were excellent choices. A nice experience overall and what you would expect froma restaurant of this caliber. Read more
Very nice underground cave like restaurant with stone walls and nice decor. I had the braised artichoke heart, it was ok nothing... out of the ordinary. I also had the chicken Milanese that slightly over cooked but still decent. My wife had the mushroomravioli and they were great. Our server was ok, we felt rushed a bit but service was good. Ellina is by far my favorite restaurant in Aspen! The most recent visit was my second time and it exceeded my expectations. It... was raining and we had a reservation to sit outside. They were packed and asked if we minded eating at the bar. Im so glad wedid! The bartender Willie made it an unforgettable and fun experience. Both times we have ordered a variety of fish, pasta andtacos. All have been amazing and you can’t go wrong. My favorite so far was the black pepper fettuccini. It’s hard to finda restaurant with a good atmosphere, and excellent food and service but Ellina has it all! Can’t wait to go back! Read more
If you’re reading a bad review ignore it! This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had, and I come from Manhattan. Amazing... service and each dish just got better and better. Outstanding drinks as well. Very pricey as we had to order from a prefixedmenu which out bill came to $450 for two after drinks and tip, but worth every penny honestly. Almost went back again the nextnight! If it wasn’t for the prefixed we would have! Hoping next time we can order freely! Read more
Had a wonderful birthday dinner at Ellina. Made reservations and they were able to sit us outside on the patio per our request.... The food was phenomenal. The calamari was one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend the tacos (pork belly and fish). Our mains were terrific. The braised short rib melted in my mouth. Our server Tia was also friendly and helpful. Would 100%eat at Ellina again. Read more

Fantastic experience - dined indoors as temps are dropping. Lively room so not as quiet but we were a group of 6 - perfect for... us. Beautiful and tasty entrees and drinks from the bar were fantastic. Extensive wine list. Smart Casual to fine dress iswelcome. Read more
