Reviews for Catch Steak Aspen in Aspen, CO
Have eaten at Catch down in the meatpacking district of Manhattan a couple of times over the years with good experiences so we... were excited to try the Aspen location. As soon as we arrived they gave my wife a hard time with her federally registeredservice animal so rather than arguing we immediately left for another restaurant. Unfortunately I would never return to orrecommend this establishment. Read more
I'm going to start off by saying that I completely do not understand the 3.8 review. Ignore that. I will also say, if your... looking for a cheap dining experience.. don't come to Aspen. I've gone to many many steak houses around the US and Canada andthis might just be my favorite. My wife booked a reservation for my birthday. The experience started when we first walked ineveryone wished me a happy birthday and got us seated at the table. Catalina was our server and made some amazingrecommendations. We almost ordered the shrimp cocktail but she steered us in a different direction and I'm thankful she didbecause it was amazing. We ordered a bone in Ribeye 12 Oz. My expectations were low as I've been to Prime and SW and many otherrestaurants in Vegas.. and it was just okay. This steak for the price was amazing. The mashed potatoes were creamy and spot on.Asparagus was well seasoned and had a hint of lime. The desert. Great presentation. Tasted great. All in all. Once again.Don't understand the 3.8. Definitely will be back. NY far the best dining experience I've had in Aspen to date. Read more
Wonderful service with amazing food and fantastic views! I wish I had the appetite to try one of everything. The wedge salad... was really flavorful and had nice big bits of bacon with a yummy creamy sesame dressing. The sizzling shrimps were absolutelyawesome with the spicy lobster sauce (not to much heat) and they were really juicy and tender. I chose the 12oz bone-in cowgirlribeye and my wife enjoy the 8oz truffle butter filet. Both plates were cooked to perfection! Juicy, tender, and absolutely fullof flavor. It makes my mouth water thinking about it. Then, we shared the incredibly delicious snicker baked Alaska; that was anamazing way to wrap up the evening. (Not pictured) If you have the opportunity and the weather is nice, choose a table outsideand enjoy the fresh mountain air while you dine! Our server Mitch was very attentive and made our evening very enjoyable. Wewill be back again soon. Read more
Very enjoyable meal with good food and super attentive service. Had the burrata appetizer which was a special that day and it... was delicious. Followed up with some of the best croquettes I?ve ever had . Then one flight of three wagyu which my wifeenjoyed a lot but did not do it for me. Then had an outstanding dry aged cowgirl which was excellent. Then baked Alaska whichwas fun and enjoyable. The overwhelming wine list with nobody to guide you is de rigueur in Aspen. I had a Ferrand Lartigue StEmillion which was fine, but not really worth the price. All in all, it was a really enjoyable meal. Read more

Best steakhouse in Aspen! Super welcoming vibe. Top notch aged beef. Cooked to perfection
I honestly wanted to LOVE this place. I love the LA location and the Vegas one as well. I was so excited to book this for our... dinner on our vacation. We reserved a table in the dining room but it was SO empty ( which is concerning since it was almostimpossible to make a reservation because how ?full? they were every time Our concierge tried to call and book for us) we endedup choosing to sit at the bar since it was more lively. The bartender was very friendly but the drinks were just OK. I don?tmind paying $30 for a margarita and expect to pay that in Aspen, but it was not even worth $5 in my opinion. For dinner, Themenu was very limited but We tried a sushi roll with king crab (it tasted like imitation crab chopped up with a bunch ofMayonnaise ) and baked clams but stopped ordering after that as we were planning on ordering steak. We left and went tosteakhouse 316 which was AMAZING. Everything we had was sub par at Catch and we feel it was not worth the money. When in Aspen Iwould highly recommend spending your money elsewhere. Very Very disappointing. Read more
Food was amazing and so was the service. We tried the Waygu flight and it was delicious. My husband had the chile rubbed New... York strip and I had a sushi roll. All so so good. Mashed potatoes were so creamy and flavorful. They also gave us acomplimentary dessert for our anniversary. Overall great experience Read more
