We had such high hopes. This was our first trip to Aspen. It was a beautiful summer day. The shop looked so quaint. It was... crowded. The menu looked great. And we got seated right away. It was all down hill from there. 30 minutes to get a server totake our order. Another 15 minutes to get a partial drink order. 15 more to get my glass of wine. Then there's the food. Thesandwich was scrawny and didn't come with a side. The salad came out without any dressing. When we told the server about itthere was no apology. No concession. No credit. But she did offer to give us extra dressing during our next visit ????. Asandwich, a salad, a lemonade, a raspberry lemonade, a glass of wine, a cocktail and a side of fries........$125 beforegratuity. If the service and food were incredible, MAYBE. It's an upscale, tourist destination. I get it. But not even close tobeing worth it for what we got or how we were treated. I hardly ever give less than positive reviews. I usually don't sayanything if our experience was poor. But if you're in Aspen for a couple of hours like us, I hope this helps to improve yourexperience. Read more

One of best breakfast places in town. Interesting decoration with great food. Super dog friendly. Their wooden table and chair... not only looks fancy but seat comfortable. Bet whoever make this place, really good at furniture Read more

Super kind wait staff. Our Ukrainian waiter was super helpful, friendly and accommodating. The dinner was fabulous and the... atmosphere is unique for Aspen. Loved it. But the true highlight was the croissants we got to go for the next morning...we threwthem in the oven and had them with our morning coffee...and they were AMAZING. I understand why everyone is obsessed with theirbreakfasts and pastries. I'm Italian and a travel blogger, so i know a good pastry when I've had one, and this was one of them. The dinner was great, but the croissants stole my heart ?? The best latte I’ve ever had and the best crème doughnut. The vibe is cozy and comforting. Highly friendly and effective... weight staff. I do not understand how this doesn’t have a higher rating. Definite 5 stars and will make this place a must stopon my return trips to Aspen. Highly recommend!!! Read more

Had brioche French toast, croissant, quiche. Food is good. Nice outdoor seating with heating and a nice view of the mountain.... Didn’t like the bomboloni as much as it tastes like a mediocre donut to me. Things to look out for are 1) food is a bit pricyfor its relatively small portion, and the French toast board does not look like the previous pictures posted. 2) they have twoversions of hot chocolate, we ordered the cheaper one $5, but got charged the other one for $6. 3) compulsory 20% gratuitieswhen you buy pastries for take out. I enjoyed the ambiance here. Can’t beat downtown Aspen on a lovely fall day. Small, but cozy surroundings. The food was just... average. My husband had the Kobe burger. It was a bit dense and not as flavorful as anticipated. I had the soup with “grilledcheese,” which was more like two thick pieces of bread with some caramelized onions and hardly any cheese involved. The soupwas good and I appreciated having a crusty bread to go with it, but it was a bit disappointing overall. I know you’re going tobe paying a bit more because it’s Aspen, but I would also expect a higher quality to go with. Read more
