Reviews for Rennick Meat Market in Ashtabula, OH
You've got to try their shrimp and grits for breakfast. Very tasty. While your at it, the bloody mary's and mimosas will get... your day off to a good start. Look around the harbor for fun too. Read more
Great food every time! Breakfast today was wonderful. They made room for us despite being so busy. Drinks were so tasty!
Just stopped in for a drink with friends. We all decided to try something different. I ordered a Contraband and it was... delicious. The young man at the bar was fun to watch making our splendid concoctions...personable and a true mixologist! Read more
if you plan on going. MAKE A RESERVATION, CALL AHEAD AND RESERVE. The place is small and intimate. Staff is friendly and... attentive. Some days it?s packed and others it?s not. It?s definitely a spot to visit on special occasions might be too priceyfor some. Read more
We had a wonderful first experience at Rennick. We made a reservation for a Friday night, which I would recommend. The pirogi... appetizer was tasty and filling. The haddock had a bit too much breading, but was very crunchy and tasty. The fries were good aswell. The hanger steak was perfectly cooked at medium rare. The garlic mashed potatoes could have had more garlic. The mushroomswere great and there were a lot of them. Good service. We look forward to returning to try more of the menu. Brunch was great! If you?re a Bloody Mary fan?get theirs?house made mix, did not disappoint. Read more
The service was great and the food amazing got the steak tartar which was very good the sourness and mustard that they used was... fresh. I got the filet mignon with a butter garlic sauce and fresh sauted mushrooms and sweet potayoe fries everything wasfreshed and cooked to perfection the steak was tender and not overly seasoned. We also got a swish mushroom burger with homemadefries and the burger you can tell was fresh beef that tasted amazing and fries where homemade. Everything was very good and Iwill definitely return. I have been here twice (once for dinner, once for lunch) and both experiences were amazing! The steaks are perfectly cooked and... totally worth the price. Side options are plentiful, and it was hard to decide what I wanted to try. Brunch offered a good mixof sweet and savory options ? I went with the French toast in a caramel pecan sauce with blueberries, while my husband choseshrimp and grits with a poached egg and lardons. Both of us enjoyed our meals, despite opting for totally differentoptions. Brunch seems to be less crowded, but I would definitely recommend reservations for dinner, as they were so full thatthey were having to turn walk-in customers away. Read more
Wonderful menu and great bourbon selection. Really enjoyed our meals. My husband thought it was one of the best steaks ever.
