Comfortable, owner is very polite, nice wine selection, food was good. Update, several years later- I was pleasantly surprised... to see Fitzgeralds, not only open, but thriving. I’ve seen a lot of businesses in the harbor fail, and it’s always sad tosee. When I first came here, they had just opened, and it was nice then, but it’s down right amazing now. I love theirupstairs bar area, and the huge selection of wines. The staff was very polite, and the prices were reasonable. I have been to this amazing restaurant on two occasions. My engagement party, and my 50th birthday party! As an out of towner,... I was beyond impressed! Debra was wonderful to set up everything for my birthday party. The food was perfectly done and tastedAMAZING! I would dine here very often if I lived here. Fitzgerald's is probably the most upscale restaurant in the Ashtabula harbor. All of their food is made from scratch so you can... expect that your time in the restaurant will be a little longer; however, it'll be well worth it. They have one of the mostunusual things I've ever seen a meatball salad. It is a wonderful salad with two very large meatballs that are probably the bestmeatballs I have ever had at a restaurant. Fitzgerald’s is a dining experience well worth the drive. The atmosphere is big city, and yet small town at the same time. ... Everyone in our party of four left rating this place a five. The food is savory to the last bite delicious! Fresh 100% andserved individually as it comes out of the kitchen, this is not fast food and the pause in between courses and dishes is wellworth it. Please take the time to go here, it is beyond worth it!! Fitzgerald's is one of the best restaurant and bars I have been to in a... very long time. Everything about it is so inviting and wonderful from the swanky atmosphere, the beautifully crafted cocktailsand wine selection, to the phenomenally made to order from scratch dinner menu. The food is so fantastic and will leave youwanting to come back to try it all. Every drink I've gotten from there is so delicious and perfectly curated.
