This is another gem in Ashtabula, Ohio! The service is incredible. You will feel welcomed and truly like a guest! Even if the... food had not been five star, which it was, just being there and treated so well would make this a great place to dine. It wasenjoyable watching the staff welcome people. The food is worth the drive from Erie or Cleveland. There is variety, and it iscooked with skill. Literally everything we ordered was fantastic. I highly recommend giving this place a try, but arrive hungryso you can try many dishes. Read more
Tonight we had arguably one of the best meals I've ever had. I had Pan roasted halibut with a tomato and corn salsa and cola... flour grits with brussel sprouts.. It was amazing. My wife had the sirloin and it was cooked to perfection. This restaurant issuch a gem to have in the Harbor. Highly recommended to anyone. Read more
We had a very delicious meal. The atmosphere was very quaint. Our server Ryan took excellent care of us. Can?t say enough to rate Bascule. Was invited for a friend?s birthday dinner and each one of us had our eyes popping on the... first bite of our respective dishes. Guys, this is a must visit if in Ashtabula or a even if drive down (like us from downtowncle)! Loved the vegetarian dishes and the drinks equally. The Rice pilaf tastes so good! The starter platter kept us superengaged with the variety and the quality of food served.
