Was in Casey?s tonight. An older lady was running register another girl was waiting for some help putting boxes in a bag when... this guy in line yelled for someone to have someone come help the older lady. The girl started walking up and asked the guy tobe patient she was doing her job he started laughing and said you were back there talking as she was trying to get boxes putinto bags. I felt so bad for her. She literally asked for Patients as she was coming. This guy belittled this girl. Telling hershe wasn?t doing her job. When we walked in she was changing trash and wiping down pop machines and counters. She was definitelydoing her job. He was laughing at her telling her she wasn?t working she was standing back there talking. He was complainingabout only one register being open. She told him if he didn?t like the fact they had one register open and she was trying todo her job as she was on her way to help get the older lady get the other computer booted back up he could leave. She wasn?trude she almost looked frustrated by how the guy treated her as everyone would look that way. He was definitely the male versionof a Karen. She came and helped the lady and apologized for what had happened. We told her it was ok and not to worry about it.People need to be nicer especially these days. This store has an amazing 2nd shift staff. Don?t let someone get you down overthem being childish. I?ll definitely be back to see 2nd shift again. Read more
This Ashley Indiana Casey?s General Store has the same genuine, and down home feel as the sister store in Waterloo! Of course... with any new store, specifically during these times and staffing issues they are still working through having enough/qualityhelp, as well as trying to understand the community needs for a 24/7 store, but I can see the new kitchen staff, as well asmanagement support is showing true heart, and I trust that the kinks are getting worked out. We stopped for something quick andthe Wraps, and chicken sandwich did not disappoint! Dave and Rachel, truly wants this store to succeed and you can tell that notonly the management staff, but Ryan and Nakita offered to make fresh burgers or pizza if I didn?t see what I was looking for. I have never seen such a trashed out place in my entire life. Went there today and everything from the pizza ???? thing to the... slushy machine is out of order. Who is running this brand new business?? Pretty sad when you have to go to the Ashley deli toget anything. I would fire everyone out there and start over. I wouldn't go back there if I was on empty and gas was $1,00. Goodluck. I wouldn't give this place any stars ?? Read more
I work third shift at a factory right next to this location. I know they can't be open 24 hours bc of staff I get that! I really... do. But they are open at different times every day. Sometimes at 430. Was just there, and it was 605, they still were not open.I along with 2 other customers left bc we don't know their hours anymore. They are pushing customers to the other gas station intown with this kind of stuff. When Casey's opened here. The whole town was excited bc we didn't have to come to the marathonanymore, but here we are. Having no choice to return to the "other" gas station!!!! Read more
Food is always decent at the least, and staff are always helpful. The location is extremely convenient for my daily commute. My... only issue is that they claim this is a 24 hour location which is not true at all. Stopped this morning for some coffee and fueland while there were 2 vehicles sitting in the front of the store all the inside lights were off and it was apparent they werenot open. How can you be 24 hour if you're not open 24 hours? I'm assuming it's a staffing issue (same with the Casey's inWaterloo.) Read more
Stopped in the new Casey's in Ashley just needing a bite to eat quick. I decided to check the fresh pizza and hot food. Grabbed... a bacon cheeseburger thinking it would just be some grub to fill me up in a hurry. As i walk up to the cashier to pay for myburger and bag of chips I grabbed, the woman who worked their accosted me about how i seemed disappointed about theselection/burger. I was a little confused considering i was solely looking for a quick and easy on the road meal. She assured methat she was just making sure i got what i wanted, and that if i needed anything made to order or added to the cheeseburger ihad grabbed she would be more than willing to fix it up. I was taken aback by the consideration to me as a customer from thiscaring worker. The bacon burger itself was actually really good for the price and what not. Thankful for the convenience of thenew gas station and the great customer service from the employees at the Casey's in Ashley Indiana! Read more
After stopping yesterday for fuel for the third time since store opening, I noticed a few signs advertising their pizza, and in... app ordering offering carside pickup of such. A little later I decided I'd give it a go. Ordered about 4, set time for 430pickup. Arrived at 430, but unfortunately had to wait 15 minutes til someone walked out with my pizza. They didn't appear to bebusy but being they are still new in town I'll give em a break on that this time. Hopefully that doesn't happen everytime. I'mnot a huge fan of taco pizza to begin with, but visually it looked good and tasted alright. They don't include taco sauce so Iadded some myself which improved it. As for the Hawaiian, I was a little disappointed in the first slice. Cutting of that pizzawas a bit erratic and could be improved on. But my main problem was that It was very greasy, so much that the crust had gottensoggy from it, and everything just slipped off the crust. I expected greasy, but the first slice was just too much. Having saidthat, I grabbed a second slice after letting the pizza set for 20 minutes or so and it was much better. This morning I put aslice in the air fryer and crust had no sogginess left, and it was much better than that first slice I had tried. Taco pizzaafter putting in air fryer a day later was much better as well. So maybe I'll see if they can bake a little longer next time Overall not bad pizza as long as you don't get an extra greasy piece where the crust gets soggy. Would be better if bbq saucewas option for sauce instead of just marinara, taco sauce for the taco pizza and maybe more seasoning on crust itself, but stillgood pizza. App ordering and curbside pickup is a big plus. I'll give it another go in the future. Read more
Gas pump receipt out of paper, window washing wands at pumps all out of washing fluid, mens bathroom out of soap and dirty. One... person working the cashier with long line at checkout. Don?t let the newer looking building fool you, this place needs someserious maintenance work. Read more
