One of the people in our party loves pubs and really wanted to check this out for lunch. The pub is very large and has all kinds... of memorabilia all over the walls. It's a really cool pub! The food was amazing! I ordered a cheese burger and it was delicious!Others in our party ordered the fish and chips, beef pasties, bangers and mash, and a fish bento bowl. Everything was delicious!A little bit on the pricey side, but well worth it! Our server was the only one working the entire pub, probably because it waslate afternoon. He was earning his pay! Service was great and it didn't take long to get our food. Worth a visit if you findyourself in Ashland,, OR! Read more

Overwhelmingly mediocre. This is not really an "Irish pub" as it is a bunch of random memorabilia from the British Islands and... Ireland thrown into a high ceiling upper bar. The food was $16-18 per plate for underwhelming food. We ordered Shepard's pieand fish and chips, F&C was fine, they gave us a lot of fries and only two pieces of fish, they could have given us half as muchfries and another piece and I would have been more happy. The fish itself was delicious however, and the tartar sauce becamewith was homemade and excellent. Best part of the meal. It came with buttered peas that were round mush, but that's to beexpected from buttered peas. The shepherd's pie was almost deconstructed? It was like they separated all the essentialingredients into three parts and layered them on top of each other. The flavor was mediocre, it just tasted like stewed beef andpotatoes. If you think that's all. Shepherd's pie is your sorely mistaken. Finally, our beers were somehow $10 a piece, I had aGuinness on draft and my wife had a black and tan. I wouldn't recommend this in the future and we likely won't be back. Read more

Much of Ashland is British-themed because of the awesome Shakespeare festival, but somehow it manages not to feel cheap or... kitschy. This is a great example: it absolutely has the feel of an authentic, community-minded old-school British-style publichouse. On the night we visited, a good duo played classic rock covers and the pub welcomed a large group of hikers who had beenkicked off the Pacific Coast Trail due to smoke. I enjoyed the bangers and mash. It would have been nice to have a few modern NAoptions, as Kaliber is a bit 1st-gen (especially since there's a real Guiness 0.0 now). Awesome experience overall, though! Read more

The food is great. I wish they had more kinds of beer. I would break them five stars except they made me get up to go get my own... water while I was eating. They told me it was easier for the wait staff. Yeah it's easier for the wait staff if your customersdo your job for you I'm sure Read more

The service was nice, not a fan of the highly rated Shepard's Pie, the meat or the veggie version. I like more veg and actual... lamb in my pie...just my taste, don't kn9w what the "authentic" pie should be like. OK, didn't hate it, didn't love it. Sincethis is the Queens Platinum Jubilee celebration, it would have been cool for them to acknowledge it in some way. Drink specialmaybe? The Scotch Egg was good! Read more
