Thanksgiving Dinner! hmmm. Never again. It was pressed turkey with greasy sausage stuffing (but no sausage). Management said,... "There is a turkey shortage" Lol. So the advertisement of "Oven Roasted Turkey" was false. $80 per person and we do not drinkalcohol. We do not write reviews. We are not haters. We feel the Larks Home Kitchen is hustling diners at this point. Buyer Beware. Holiday meals are a no go. In response to the owner: The staff was great, and we honored them with a 20% tip. That wasnot the issue. We felt that the restaurant misrepresented the dinner in its advertising. Oven-roasted turkey and bonelessreheated pressed turkey are not the same thing, so it stole the opportunity for us to make an informed decision. Again, this isthe first review we have ever written. We work hard too, and felt your establishment hustled us. Disclosure is everything. Read more
Loved the burger. Wife had the Meatloaf, and it was wonderful as well. I had the chocolate cake with the salted lavender ice... cream. I wish they would do a dessert that was just 3 or 4 scoops of the salted lavender ice cream with a dollop of thehuckleberry nestled in the middle. Read more
We had a great meal! Good service, food was very good, and the restaurant/ hotel are gorgeous!
Pretty room and a more formal dining spot than usual for laidback Ashland. Good food, complex, vaguely French and New American... menu with a lot of entrees with a lot of sauces. Very tasty array of greens, cheese, veggies and meats from local farms. Greatservice, good for date night. Yes to outdoors dining but sidewalk tables outside seemed noisy. Read more

Thanksgiving dinner disappointment. For the last 5 to 6 years we have had our Christmas dinners at Larks. We’ve also had... several Thanksgiving dinners there during that time. Each meal was well prepared and included very good service. This year themeal was a different story. The advertised oven roasted turkey turned out to be processed turkey loaf. The salad was good butover-dressed. Our deep fried squash rings were over cooked, mostly breading with small bits of squash inside. The turkeydressing had very little flavor and the desserts were mediocre with crust so tough it had to be cut with a knife. This was morelike cafeteria food than an upper end restaurant. Excluding drinks and the 20% gratuity the cost was 64.00 each for the 4 adultsand 40.00 for a ten year old child. We were even charged 6.00 for an extra basket of bread with 4 slices! The service was verygood, one of the few bright spots. Larks - You need to do better to expect our business again. We may look elsewhere for ourChristmas dinner this year. Read more
