What an awesome experience my wife and I had last night. Service was perfect and the sushi was very impressive. The delicious... rolls were well balanced with fresh clean flavors that complimented the fish rather than cover it up. Presentation was simpleand elegant. For dessert I had a scallop nigiri and my wife, an oyster shooter. Both of us were pleased. I received twobeautiful scallops that were incredibly sweet. It was the perfect end to a lovely dinner. Great little gem in downtown Ashland. Had some great oysters and even better sushi. Just went with rolls this time and drinks.... Enjoyed the freshness of everything and will be somewhere I return when in the area again. Plus can walk around the downtownafter and enjoy what Ashland has to offer. The trio of brûlée was the only item I would say that didn?t live up to the entiremeal. Was just okay, wouldn?t order that again. But hey it?s a sushi spot so?. Read more
I did like it! The food was fresh and authentic and I thoroughly enjoyed the dessert. However it was pricey and I believe that's... only because the fresh fish and other food items is probably expensive to purchase for the restaurant to begin with, butremember you will spend a few pretty pennies if you go. My absolute favorite restraunt. Always a wonderful expirence, amazing sushi, and the atmosphere is so inviting. My husband & i... have been going here for the last 4 years. Everything was excellent! My husband and I usually get one roll each. This night we tried the Kobe Sliders - oh so good!... Japanese Fried Chicken - perfect! The Northwest roll for him. And I had the Sky Diver roll, which was amazing! The Northwest hastiny bits of lemon so I would recommend trying it after cleansing your palate first and then after if you are sharing rolls.
