Horrible Customer Service! I joked about getting candy for me, my partner, and my baby because it was Halloween weekend. The... lady said only 1 per person, and babies can't eat candy. Then she proceeded to remove the candy tray and act disgruntled after Igot two. We were trying to joke while ordering food, but we didn't buy burritos because she was off putting and very rude. My wife and I just had these burritos for the first time. Delicious!!! Don?t pay any attention to these Karen?s and Ken?s. Very... clean, tasty, and the service and workers couldn?t be more friendly and courteous. Will be back again definitely. Read more
TERRIBLE. Waste of money- they do not give refunds for their overpriced - AWFUL food. We were literally given a cold tortilla... wrapped around lettuce and a tsp of beans- for $10. Do not risk it. It? was ok the first time we went- inconsistent, no qualitycontrol and clearly not managed well. Sorry. I really wish it was good. Read more
Burrito Republic used to be the go-to place in town for great burritos. The success of a business relies on it being... consistently good. The last 2 times I went there, the food was hastily prepared and just was not good (burritos). Before thatthe many times I had gone there, the food had been excellent. I'd like to ask whoever manages the place to please take care tokeep the standards high for every single customer and that every food item that goes out meets your own quality standards. Icame out here to check if others were experiencing the same drop in quality in food and service. I was sad to see that recentcomments reflect the same thing that I have recently experienced. I'm not sure what is happening - if it is worker turnover orwhat - but you have a gem of a business there which once had great food, great location and friendly employees. Being downtown,word of mouth is just as much a part of your business marketing with tourists and visitors asking where they could get a goodlunch. You folks want and need to be a favorite in the area. Please adjust your business back to the high standards it was inthe past - the food does the talking and if it is top quality, your business will boom. As of now, I see a lot of discouragingcomments and must add mine as well. I will try again and hope that things have returned to the high standards you once held. I really debated whether I was going to write this review due to how disappointed I am, but I felt it was needed. We tried... Burrito Republic last week on Tuesday, 6/7, after one of our coworkers said it was a pretty good place. Me and my coworkersordered three burritos and a salad. Two of the burritos had a chemical like smell as if the surface they were assembled on wascleaned with bleach or something of that nature. The smell was so off-putting that it made the burritos totally inedible. Acouple of bites and in the trash they went. All of the burritos were cold and had soggy tortillas, and really lacked any flavor.The salad was mushy and the mango salsa tasted old. The third burrito and the salad were both only half eaten and tossed out aswell. We all agreed that everything was just underwhelming and off-putting. Now someone may say why didn't we return the food orcall and complain. Well, as healthcare workers we get a very short lunch break, thus we don't have time to do that. Reallydisappointed as we really wanted to like this place. But unfortunately with the price of the food, tax, and tip we wasted$50. Don't think we'll be trying Burrito Republic again. Read more
The burritos we ordered were so fresh tasting and delicious! We ordered our food online and it was ready exactly when it was... promised, 20 minutes later. We ordered 5 burritos and chips and guacamole for 5 adult sized people (chicken adobo and pork). They were so filling that we actually have 1 and 1/3 burritos left. I?ve ordered food from here three times. It is always very tasty. However, it is always poorly prepared. Either the employees... were not trained how to wrap a burrito properly or do not care enough to do it well. Last time my salad had standing liquid init. Standing liquid. In a salad. Seriously? Veggie burrito was depressing. All peppers and lettuce with a sprinkle of rice and a quarter cup of bean water exploding out of... the sides. Not worth the money. Probably won?t be coming back. Ashland really needs a better burrito location that serves ahearty vegetarian option. Read more
