No doubt a very popular restaurant in Asheville. As a food delivery gig person, I usually don't have long wait issues here. The... other night was HORRIBLE! I was told the customer's order is still cooking and would be just a few more minutes. Okay I'mthinking 5 minutes. Fifteen minutes later, food was still not ready!! I was updated once again it would be just another coupleof minutes! Really?? Please restaurant owner! Lets be professional and be much more accurate on time! As a delivery person, timeis critical for us and we need you to be much more considerate and accurate of time! After 20 minutes of waiting on this order,I was just walked out and dropped the delivery order. I now had a barely warm pizza sitting in my car pizza bag I had to deliverand apologize for. Read more
Literally the worst $60 spent in eating out ever. Still gave a tip although we should have have zero. Everything that could go... wrong was wrong.... Sat by hostess and waited about 10 minutes before being greeted/offered drinks. Possibly due to her havinglike 8 tables to wait on. Ordered a soda, appetizer and food all at once because we knew it was going to be a bad one judgingby the wait to be greeted. Appetizer calamari was first out and was a laughable portion size. Should have taken a pic and postedit here because that calamari was embarrassing. Then a flat soda finally made it after being there 15+ minutes in and after theappetizer came out. Food was couple special rolls and a "box" dinner. Nothing was bad or good, it was just ok. There was evena short hair in the food but i just took it out and flicked it on the floor as I'm not looking for a free meal, I just want goodfood when I pay to eat out and not a conflict with an already bad situation. Never heard from waitress other than dropping offappetizer, one flat soda with never asking about a refill, bringing the dinner and then the check after we're done with dinnerfor like another 10 minutes. If you can't take care of your customer, don't seat them until your wait staff is properly trainedto take care of that many people or are caught up. And get rid of the table of garbage when you walk in that looks like wherethe owner's kids does arts and crafts/homework when it's slow and they can't get a babysitter. Read more

Zen is my favorite spot to get sushi in Asheville. I love the location and the easy parking. Staff are friendly and quick. I can... be in and out during lunch within 30 minutes. The sushi is incredible. I've had everything from the basic rolls and several ofthe speciality rolls. Have loved everything. Have went through many of the appetizers and a few of the menu items. Woulddefinitely recommend. Read more

Extremely disappointed with our delivery order tonight. We ordered the hibachi steak and shrimp and the udon noodles with... chicken. There was a tiny amount of steak, and then I had to pick through the noodles to even find the chicken. I ended uptaking all of the chicken out and weighing it because it was so ridiculous. It was 1.9 oz of chicken, which was also totallyover cooked and not salted or seasoned at all. I took two bites of chicken and dumped the rest. I’ve been eating in therestaurant since 2008. This was my first time ordering delivery, and it certainly doesn’t make me want to eat there again. Read more
