I must say that I was pleasantly surprised here. My friend is obsessed with a Whit's in Florida but I kept picturing soft serve... custard with nothing IN it, etc etc. I'm not a big toppings person but if it's mint chips I expect the chips, you know ? Anyway, apparently this frozen custard is HARD. And although there were a few ordering hiccups, this was the best "ice cream"I've had around here. To be honest that's not saying much because I have been SEVERELY under impressed with Ashevolle icecream. But this stuff is quality. You can notice this is custard due to the thick texture which isn't my favorite but it iswhat it is. I'm only mad now because I was annoyed at the ordering confusion so didn't think I'd return so I didn't get afrequent scoop punch card, and now I will most definitely be back. Read more
Not that much bang for your buck but it is tasty. I got the cool coffee milkshake. I enjoyed it but the medium is at least $5... but it?s really like small. The custard is rich so I enjoyed it. I?d come back. The cashier lady with the blonde hair was sweet! Read more
We love Whit's! The custard is made fresh daily, and it's so light and creamy. Add a couple mix-ins to top off your scoop, and... you're all set...so delicious! Read more
I've been hoping to find a great frozen custard place since leaving Florida and I found it here at Whit's. Their fresh custard... is fantastic and they have lots of mix-ins to choose from. They also have a great selection of pre-made treats to choose fromincluding cookie sandwiches and cartons of various flavors. Very good, check it out! Read more

SNAPSHOT = details below - quality reigns regardless of which location you visit. The franchisor does a great job ensuring that... the in-store experience does not vary much. The store on Hendersonville Road seems a bit brighter and even cleaner than thespotless locations in Hendersonville and on Merrimon Avenue. This store has more fun art on the walls. The custard is super delicious! If you add toppings, it's smart to ask for more custard than toppings! I got whipped cream and... it was half custard half cream. :( But it's so fn good! Read more
