My sister and I visited the original Well Played location a couple of years ago and were heartbroken when we heard it closed in... COVID. So obviously we were thrilled when we found out they reopened!! We brought our laptops and spent at least 5 hours hereplaying games between work. Cannot recommend this place enough!!! Great place. We didn't eat but we did get the coffee which had a quality taste. Large selection of games available. Many high... quality and popular games too, not just clearance shelf stuff. $7 a person for the entire day to play as much as you want. Ifyou like board games you'll love this place. Read more

Absolutely love Well Played. They have a beautiful setup with very clever and fun decor, a good variety of table sizes and... plenty of seating, and a great library of games including everything from standard fare like Monopoly to more niche games. Thestaff is always kind and helpful, going out of their way to create a welcoming environment for every level of gamer. I had thechance to meet one of the owners during a soft opening event for the building and he was clearly invested in cultivating thebest possible experience. My daughter and I had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful. $10 per person gets you a day pass on the weekend, and... the food was good and reasonably priced. We will definitely go back. They're back and bigger than before! Well Played now has the space for more gamers and more room for them to spread out, even... when it gets busy. They can get you a delicious variety of hot food and drinks (both beer-wise and cafe-wise) from a real preparea, so filling up here is much nice than at the average gaming store. Personally, I found the hot cocoa to be a touch toosweet for my tastes, but the pain au chocolat was scrumptious and served up warm (so that the chocolate ribbons were nice andgooey!). The staff, of course, is as friendly and geeky as you'd hope. Extra props for them. As for the games? That's thereal treat. There's a whole wall of them-- a large variety that the cafe has color-coded so you can find the appropriatecomplexity nice and quick. They've also highlighted two player games making this an excellent place for a date or other pairingout for fun. Employees were very kind and eager to explain game rules to us. It seemed like they all enjoyed working there. It was an... affordable family night and we enjoyed drinks (beer, coffee, and tea - something for everyone). What a great business model!
