My sister and I visited the original Well Played location a couple of years ago and were heartbroken when we heard it closed in... COVID. So obviously we were thrilled when we found out they reopened!! We brought our laptops and spent at least 5 hours hereplaying games between work. Cannot recommend this place enough!!! Only thing I?d change is if they had a decaf drip coffeeoption. We got coffees, hot chocolate, and then beers later. Read more
Great place. We didn't eat but we did get the coffee which had a quality taste. Large selection of games available. Many high... quality and popular games too, not just clearance shelf stuff. $7 a person for the entire day to play as much as you want. Ifyou like board games you'll love this place. Read more
Absolutely love Well Played. They have a beautiful setup with very clever and fun decor, a good variety of table sizes and... plenty of seating, and a great library of games including everything from standard fare like Monopoly to more niche games. Thestaff is always kind and helpful, going out of their way to create a welcoming environment for every level of gamer. I had thechance to meet one of the owners during a soft opening event for the building and he was clearly invested in cultivating thebest possible experience. My daughter and I had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful. $10 per person gets you a day pass on the weekend, and... the food was good and reasonably priced. We will definitely go back. The best part is that they have games appropriate for everyage group. One of the best places in Asheville to spend a few hours. Read more
