My wife and I were traveling in North Carolina when we stop a this particular Waffle where we were only not greeted when we... entered, but sat at table over ten minutes without being waited on. Usually a five star back at home in Sumter sc however this place was much slower pace and our waitress was so busy catering to a... ? regular? that she barely checked on us. Five stars because of Casey! She was so sweet, professional and attentive. She seemed like she really loved her job which is... rare these days anywhere unfortunately. One of, if not the best waitress we?ve ever had at any Waffle House. Food (eggs, bacon,and egg and cheese biscuit) was great too except for the chocolate chip waffle not being cooked nearly enough. The cook seemedlike he was ready to go home. He was stingy with the chips as well but Casey gave me some more chips no questions asked. Among the better Waffle House restaurants that we have visited. The staff is friendly and Ms. Birdy took great care of us. She... took our orders and made a suggestion for the combo that saved us some money. The food was prepared just the way we asked forit. There is a large parking lot with plenty of parking spaces. A waffle house is only as good as the cook on the grill .. never seen a waffle house cook leave a station when it was as busy as... this one was during breakfast till today . The next thing was laying bacon on plates with no order.. our food came cold ..waffle was so cold it wouldn't melt the butter which was at room temperature . Then to fine out the cook was the Manger.. wholeft the floor completely during a rush to talk to a employee who came in .. the customers come first then the employee ..During our stay the Manger never hit the front counter again .. and our waitress said she was glad we got our food .. last howcan a waffle house have cold coffee. .we eat at waffle houses all around and this by far our worst experience .. Every time I go to North Carolina from Illinois, to visit my son, I eat at Waffle Houses along the way. I've been to a bunch of... Waffle Houses. The food is always good and the service is always excellent. This Waffle House was no exception. Every WaffleHouse I've been to is also exceptionally clean. The staff seem to be highly motivated to keep their restaurants spotless. Thisarea is where this Waffle House differs from all the rest. One of the best Waffle House I have been in! I used to work at a Waffle house in Hendersonville years ago. Donna our waitress... was super awesome!
