We were in Asheville for the weekend and love breakfast food. We don?t have a lot of places in Greensboro that have great... breakfast and support vegans. update - breakfast was so good, we came back for more the next day! a quick search for a non-chain based bagel shop, we found... this one. personally it was a new bagel experience for me, and I couldn't be happier with this choice! I ended up with thebreakfast panini, wife got the breakfast bagel adding bacon. Both were exceptionally good! (we share food often) Both orderswere unique an their own, each had great complimenting flavors and the bacon was perfectly sweetened. it's a good and bad thingthis shop isn't near our home. we would go broke eating here too much???? Tiger Bay Cafe catered a staff lunch during the YWCA's professional development week. They graciously worked with our many... nutritional needs and accommodated everyone seamlessly. Fantastic food at very reasonable rates and the best wait staff anywhere in Asheville. I can't recommend this place... enough. Corinne, Danielle, Jamie, and company really cook and serve all the food with love and it shows in every bite!! Great place to support! Had an awesome lox bagel, super indulging with an egg on top. The cashier recommended a rice bowl for me... to take home (I was on the go and couldn't really sit and take in the place, Battle Cat) and it slapped! I did manage to buysome art prints while I waited and looked around. The food took about 10 minutes, which on a Sunday is pretty quick. If I havemore time in Asheville, I'm coming back! Read more
