They've been around for thirty years and it shows in the quality. Three of our party enjoyed the Peking Meat Sauce, but agreed... it is best over the egg noodles. The pickled carrot and silver potato apps are unique and tasty, you should add them to yourmeal. The staff were friendly but not too informative when ordering. Read more

I have no idea why this place has such high ratings. The food was mediocre at best. The service was OK. There are so many little... things about this place that I don?t understand. For instance, why is the dipping sauce on a plate and not a bowl? Why does itsay spicy when there?s no spice at all? why does it say vermicelli when it?s Ramen noodles? Why do they pour the sauce onto thesquid? The dumplings were okay but could use some seasoning. The prices are reasonable. I have no interest in returning. Read more

I?ve been to this restaurant 20 times and it?s still my favorite! It?s not fancy, and looks more like a take-out restaurant, but... the service, food quality and portion/value are great for downtown Asheville. It?s also really fun to sit outside on the patioor sidewalk! Read more

I was craving ramen, my friend was craving Thai, and my other friend wanted Chinese. We came to the noodle bar on a whim,... thinking it would suit all of our cravings. I ordered the Dan Dan noodle bowl, with thick noodles, and added shrimp. It by FARexceeded my expectations. 10/10 experience. I know this bowl is not ramen, however I was really craving a ?noodle soup? and omgthe flavor builds, and is insanely delicious. The second photo is of fried squid appetizer, which was also delicious but did notcompare to the Dan Dan noodles ???????? I will be back in Asheville specifically for these noodles. Read more

My family has loved coming here for years. The staff are friendly. Seating is nearly immediate. People watchers will love the... outside seating. All four of us love and recommend the Spicy Korean Noodle Bowl with the Mung bean noodles. We've never had abad meal here. Read more

Small Asian restaurant in downtown Asheville. Service was quick and efficient. Food was tasty but the bao was a little... lackluster and although we were seated outside as we had a dog with us, there was no heater to keep us warm. The staff was niceenough to lower the rain/wind guard outside but the wind blowing through the door were no joke. Luckily the hot jasmine tea andfood kept us warm. The staff also accommodated our dog and gave her her own drinking bowl. Read more

We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. It was cold outside and we wanted something to warm us up, and this did the trick. They... have a great selection of vegan options and it?s clearly labeled on the menu which items are vegetarian, vegan, and spicy. Lovedthe spring rolls and fried tofu as our apps and I got the Sesame Tofu as my entrée. I thought it was going to be like theclassic sesame chicken sweet sauce, but I was fooled. Nonetheless, it was still tasty. Give this place a shot, you won?t bedisappointed! Read more

The location was beautiful. Right at the center of downtown. There were many menu selections. The only drawback here was the... service. The hostess was nice and seated us right away. Our waitress came to the table and took our order. I had a questionabout the wine origins, and she told me she had no idea what type of wine was served or where it came from.. We ordered, andexactly one minute after our appetizer was brought, the waitress slammed our entree plates down and walked away and never cameback. My husband ran out of water, and we repeatedly tried to get the attention of our waitress for a refill. After 20 minutesof eating and no water, we had to stand up to finally get her attention. She came to the table, poured water in his glass, andwithout one word walked away. This was not a case of understaffing. There were 5 tables In Total while we were there( no insideseating). This was a case of good food, extremely poor service. In order to pay our bill we had to flag down the hostess. Aftertaking our order, our waitress never spoke another word to us. I honestly expected more from this respected Ashville buisness. Read more
