Authentic Jalisco-style Mexican cuisine. This is my favorite Mexican food in town. Their kitchen is spotless and visible from... the front of house, so that adds to the experience. The whole menu in credible, from simple tacos to spicier fare, everythingis super authentic and tasty! Read more

I'm sad to give it 4 stars instead of 5, because this is literally the best Mexican food in Asheville and everybody should know... it. But I have to say something. My clothes were clean when I wore them to dinner there last night, I had just put them on. Allwe did was eat there, then go home, and I immediately took them off. Now that I'm throwing them back on today, I'm disgusted byhow strongly I can still smell their cleaning chemicals. The food is so good that I've eaten there twice within the last 10days, but every time I walk in I almost have to leave immediately because the strength of the chemicals that they're using toclean the place. It is a major issue. But after pounding my first Margarita, and getting some sizzling hot fajitas to the table,I can no longer smell it to such a degree, and I can finally relax and just enjoy the food. But before that, when you're waitingfor the server to come say high, when you're waiting for your drink to come, when you're waiting for your appetizers or entreesto arrive, it is absolutely brutal. And I'm not exaggerating. Even people who don't mind chemical smells would probably have avery difficult time with this. And I've never been to a restaurant that is like this. As the entire floor is a continuoussurface of ceramic tile, my sneaking suspicion is that it is actually the mop solution that they use shortly before opening.Because the scent is potent throughout the restaurant, and even stronger in the bathroom, a closed space with less foot traffic,I think this theory has merit. But seriously, this is a place where people come to eat, I don't care what you're cleaning orwhy, I shouldn't have to smell chemicals. You're just shooting yourself in the foot and about to lose someone really reallyreally wants to be a frequent and loyal customer. Honestly it's bad enough that I should be giving just a one-star review, buttheir food is too good for me too do that. Oh, and did I mention the portions? Excellent. You're defi Read more

Undeniably good Mexican food! Tacos are traditional with the cilantro and onions. The enchiladas are really good. The fresh... made salsa is the right amount of heat. This Last visit, I think someone forgot the lemon juice or lime. Needed some acid. You know me, I'm very gluten sensitive, and I didn't get sick!! That's always a win!! Read more

Tasty and authentic Mexican food! Good prices, filling portions, with free chips and salsa. Good vegetarian options as well.... Love the indoor and outdoor seating options. I ordered the cheese dip for my chips and wasn?t too impressed by it, but my cheeseenchiladas were delicious. I also love their house margaritas. Bonus - sizable parking lot. Read more

Really enjoyed my Colorado Chili burrito. Also strong sweet tea. Service is friendly and quick. Will definitely be... back. Note: This is a chipotle pepper sauce, not green chili sauce. If you are from Colorado, don't get confused. Read more

After traveling around the world, this is still one of the best taco shops I have ever eaten at. While the chips and salsa,... burritos and enchiladas are delicious, the tacos are the star of the show. Grab some tomatillo salsa to put on your 3(or more)tacos and your belly will thank you. Update: the birria soup only available Sunday is worth the wait all week! Read more

Overall the food was good, just the caldo de shrimp was missing some taste. The flan is out of this world, extremely delicious.
