We enjoyed Korean food (1st timers) here. The box lunch Salmon had a delicious teriyaki sauce, with sides of kimchi, dumplings,... veggies & rice $12. Chicken fried rice also $12 at lunch. Friendly service. Read more
Plenty of parking available. Lots of vegetarian options. The cider was excellent. I loved the tofu stone bowl. The egg cooked... while you were eating. The food was delicious and I have been craving it again. Unfortunately, our service was lackluster. Wehad to wait awhile to have our order taken and they gave us the wrong food initially. Would have loved to give 5 stars, but Icouldn't due to the service issues. Read more
OMG! If there were words to describe the deliciousness, I still wouldn’t be able to use them because my mouth would be full... ???? In all seriousness, being a Celiac/gluten free diner - it made me feel extremely reassured when the staff was very on-topof it. He provided a specific menu where dishes that are safe are circled, brought GF soy sauce before I could ask for it, andmade sure the spicy sauce that could cross contaminate was left off the dish. The food was delicious and I had absolutely noreaction. *insert chef’s kiss Gluten free or not - TRY THE DDUK BOK KIN (I think that’s pretty close) from the appetizermenu. It’s delicious! Read more

We found this little gem while traveling to Asheville to pick some stuff up for my brother. While we were searching we didn't... find any other Korean options so we decided to give Stone Bowl a chance. With it being the only real Korean place e could find,we weren't expecting the most authentic flavors but we can never pass up a chance to try a Korean spot. When we entered thefront doors, the place was nicely decorated and had a really welcoming feel to it. We were greeted and told we could sitanywhere we would like. When we were brought the menu we were surprised at how many options it had and how great sounding andlooking everything was. We started out with some traditional Kimbap. Kimbap is Kimbap, and Stone Bowl definitelydelivered...but my favorite surprise was the dipping sauce they brought out with it. I've never had a sauce like that servedwith Kimbap before and it was a very very nice addition. The three of us decided to all order stone bowls but with differentmeats. When the food came the main thing I was discouraged about was the lack of banchan that was brought out with it. Luckilyfor Stone Bowl, the couple of dished they do serve are packed with so much good flavor that it reminds me of a good home cookedmeal by my Korean family. I will say that corn in the stone bowl was a little odd as I've never had it served like that beforebut it did offer a nice flavor and texture to the dish. All the meats tasted great and so did the ingredients that made up thebowls. After letting the bowl sit for a minute and crispen up the rice in the bottom, I poured some of the gochujang and thekimbap sauce on my bowl, mixed it up, and devoured it! Service, atmosphere, and food were all great. I will definitely betrying Stone Bowl again next time I am in the area! Read more
