We originally just came to this place wanting to try some of the drinks, but we ended up ordering some plates as well, and it... was definitely a good choice. We ordered the beef tartare and the gun powder's mushrooms, and both were absolutely delicious. Mypartner was a little skeptical of eating a plate of mushrooms at first, but as soon as he tried the first bite, he was hooked. Both orders were beautifully plated as well. We ordered the Summer's Eden and No Sleep Til Brooklyn drinks, and they were alsowonderful! Prices are kind of high for the serving sizes, so be aware of that beforehand. We didn't order "dinner," rather itwas more akin to small plates or appetizers. It worked out for us since we had eaten a late lunch already. Our waitress was alsoreally awesome. Definitely check this place out if you're in the mood for small plates and/or a fun drink. Read more

I’m only here for a day, and I decided to come to this cocktail bar. Sovereign Remedies is listed in many of the guides as... having the best cocktails, and I wholeheartedly agree. I had three cocktails and each one is excellent. The cocktails changeevery month, but they also experiment and will accommodate what you want. What the guide doesn’t say is that the food isexcellent as well. The ingredients are very fresh and high end. These change each month, but if you have the chance, you musttry the local peaches with foies gras torchon. You cannot go wrong with this combination Read more

A gem in Asheville. Gorgeous building/bar, very cool upstairs dining area, exceptional service (Eli), awesome music selection... (and volume), uniquely delicious food, and hand-crafted drinks. Didn't love the dessert we chose (s'more terrine), but thatdidn't dull the overall experience. Oh, get the cornbread!! Alcohol-free options included telling the server the flavorprofiles I preferred and leaving it to the incredible bartenders to come up with something. The drink photo pictured with thisreview did not contain any alcohol and was delicious! Read more

I'll say upfront that the experience was tainted by a really loud, inebriated patron. I think the server was avoiding being in... the room. And at least one table asked to be moved. We should've too. Service was meh which was surprising given that otherreviews praised that. Recommend sitting at the bar. The other thing to note is that the upstairs dining room was uncomfortablyhot on Saturday evening in July. Drinks were good - esp No 27. Food was hit or miss. Liked the heirloom salad. The duck in thetamale was also good. The cornbread was odd. The fried green tomatoes bland. It was all taking so long that we skipped dessert. Read more

Our food and drinks were outstanding. The food is so flavorful. Kudos to the chef. The atmosphere inside is so sweet and... romantic. Dim lights with a comfortable feeling really makes the mood and mind relax here. The bartenders were very friendly andhonest about their favorite items on the menu. We love this place. Read more

This was a nice, eclectic spot, with a dark ambience. We ordered the corn bread, brussel sprouts (my fave), beef carpaccio... (least favorite), potatoes, trout, shrimp, and beef shoulder. Drinks were great, I recommend the No Sleep till Brooklyn, andservice was on point. Dessert was underwhelming, I recommend you skip it. Read more

The appetizers we got were the Duck Frites, Beef Tartar, and Hasselback Potaotes. Chopped Cut for the Moment main course.... Service was good. The frites were a standout and rest of what we ate was adequate. We had a cute table that overlooked the firstfloor. Read more

Located downtown Asheville N Market St. While there’s plenty of great places for craft cocktails this place has serious game.... Lots of great options of the list and plenty of tasty recommendations from the staff. From one of the best Moscow mules I’veever had to whiskey sours, you name it they can make it. If your hungry there’s fresh local ingredients in there bar fare withPommes frites all the way to beef tartare. Worth a stop if you want something worth having. Cheers!! Read more
