Reviews for Salvage Station in Asheville, NC
STS9 show 10/22/22 nice venue, plenty of porta potties, bars, and decent food trucks. there was some seating in the back with... metal chairs and tables, or some wood benches. extra bonus was to park at the visitors center and take a shuttle, all free! sure beats fighting traffic out of the venue after the show. if another one of our favorite bands play here, we would be happyto return! Very nice venue with good sound. Had a blast catching yet another Trombone Shorty show and meeting some new folk who enjoy his... music. Have a Seafood Slider or two; you won?t be disappointed. #geauxshorty Read more

Very cool setup at this venue. Lots of small bars all around. They bring in really good food options. They provided easy... access to cold water which was great in the heat. The sound, stage, and production was outstanding. We saw Bumpin Uglies,Little Stranger, The Hip Abduction and The Movement and it was a fantastic show. Read more
We ve been to many concerts at this venue and its much improved over the past 5 years with lots of gravel and mulch added so its... no longer a muddy mess when it rains. There are usually food trucks, beer booths, band merch booth and plenty of porta johns ingood condition (during this last visit) Most concerts are standing room only and no chairs or blankets allowed. There are somechairs but don?t count on getting one. You can get your tickets online- we always use the Salvage Station website. The parkinglot just isn?t big enough for most concerts so cars park both directions along Riverside Drive. Read more
This venue is amazing! Plenty of space and a breeze blowing through the place! Magical! ???????? We saw The String Cheese... Incident this weekend and they were phenomenal, as usual! ???????? There were two things that were disappointingthough.......that the beer was $7 on Friday and $9 on Saturday then 2 different sizes on Sunday priced $7 and $9. I realize youwere selling 2 different sizes on Sunday but that was a little confusing. The sign above said $7, but the bartender was a littlejerky and told me $9 in a stern voice, although the sign said $7 on Sat. Also, you can't bring in a water bottle???? Thankfullythe guys at the front let me store my water bottle by the little hut and I picked it up on my way back out.???? Besides thosetwo things, everything else was great???? Food trucks were fire???? and I also bought a refillable water bottle from one of themto refill at the water station. Thank you Cheese for a real good time!!!???? Read more
The place is nice. They have an indoor venue and huge outdoor venue for bigger shows. Good food and music. I have to give it... three stars because it was the hardest search to get in that I've ever seen. You would think you were trying to enter thePentagon getting into this place. They were searching bras and everything. They backed up the line for over an hour. I've beengoing to shows for 23 years and this was the longest line I've ever seen to get in, probably 500 people. Then they play thesame country song that rudely tells everyone to get the hell out as soon as the show ends and they start screaming at everybody. Longest line I've ever seen, hardest search I've ever seen, rudest employees I've ever seen. I took a couple pics of the lineI'll attach but I would have needed to take a few more to get the whole line. Read more
