We like this place so we went back for lunch. For the first time, they asked us how much heat we wanted 1-5. Not knowing how to... judge, we picked 2. It was pretty hot but not unbearable. Another guy came in who was obviously a regular customer. He knewexactly what he wanted and asked for 4 hot. Wow! I wonder if he still has lips! This place is great! I've been looking for a local thai cuisine restaurant that really serves authentic thai cuisine. Stopped at this place as a quick rest during a roadtrip. Always enjoyed Thai food and this one was decent. The restaurant is... clean and the staff was welcoming. Absolutely the best pad Thai in Asheville. Hands-down. I haven?t eaten at this place many times and I?ve never been... disappointed. The jumbo shrimp pad Thai and vegetable pad Thai with the ginger lemonade is our go to. If you have never hadtheir ginger lemonade you have got to try it. It?s the best. This is the best Thai food I've had on the east coast. We came here on a chill Monday during leaf season. While there wasn't a... lot of other customers inside, from the time they opened to the time we left, a constant stream of people shuffled in for to goorders. We got the spring rolls, the Tom Kah gai, the massuman curry and the spicy basil. All of it was amazingly deliciouswith very large portions, (at an incredibly reasonable price). Our waiter Tommy was incredibly personable and kind. He gave ussome pointers on where to go around asheville, and even took a picture for us at the restaraunt.
