We'd stayed in the hotel last year, and ate at the Overlook restaurant during our stay and enjoyed it. Now we live somewhat... close and so wanted to come back. Overlook changes the menu around sometimes but the food is always good. Servers andbartenders are friendly and attentive, too. The reason it got 4 stars not five is although we opted to sit outside on thepatio, there were too many flies and even a wasp or two to deal with. Overlook needs to put some of those insect zappers outthere. That patio is nice otherwise, and the grounds are really pretty. We'll be back! Read more

Amazing breakfast buffet. Extremely fresh and some of the best smoked salmon. Omelet station, fresh toast all amazing. John is... extremely hospitable and accommodating. Highly recommend, will make this a regular stop when in Asheville. Read more
We ordered room service from the Overlook and it was OK. I usually elaborate on my reviews but I can't on this one. Due to... COVID-19 you have to pick up the food at the bar as they won't deliver it to your room. By the time they call you to pick it up,you walk to the bar and back to your room, the food is cold. Ugh. Service was quick. The turkey club was one of the beat I have had. Many times club sandwiches tend to be overloaded and... difficult to eat. This was, while well built, was balanced. The avocado was a nice touch. The fries were overflowing the basketin which they were served, similar to the way they are served in German and Swiss restaurants. They were perfectly crisp on theoutside and fluffy on the inside. Recommend. Read more
We were quite delighted by the perfectly prepared and plated food and drinks at the Crowne Plaza Asheville Resort. Everyone was... exceptionally friendly and more than accommodating to our specific requests. My husband ordered the center-cut Sirloin with bluecheese, garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. I ordered a tuna special topped with citrus veggies and rice. We bothrequested rare and both arrived as desired. We ended the meal with a raspberry cheesecake. The new food and beverage managerwas terrific along with Patsy the hostess and our server Salam. The property is older but well-maintained and once the curtainswere open, the evening view overlooking the resort was nice. Read more
We had planned to eat dinner in downtown Asheville. But after riding around for a while trying to find parking. We finally gave... up. Parking is a luxury around the local restaurants. So we decided to eat at the overlook restaurant. So glad we did. Thefood was terrific, and the service was pperfect. And the best part!! Plenty of parking. We had dinner and breakfast.
