Love this place. Middle Eastern is my favorite cuisine, and Mr. Kebab does not disappoint. There's nothing fancy about it, in... fact what I love most is that I can enjoy the flavors of typical Middle Eastern traditional dishes without long waits andterrible parking. I'm a big fan of strip mall restaurants that give you flavors from another part of the world without thepressure of having to knock your socks off with a whole big dining experience. New fave, in Asheville. Found kinda by default. We were going to a local competitor, but when it cost 2 of us upwards of 40$,... for 2 Shwarma sandwiches & small fried cauliflower - served w/an "I don't need/want your business attitude," we Googled new,local places & tried this one. Excellent middle Eastern food made by friendly people for a great price! I was introducing this style to family members that are... more familiar with Greek, so they were being picky, but everyone at Mr. Kabab was accommodating and made everything toperfection, quickly. This review is being written at 8:55 pm on Jan-29. The food was ordered at 8:09 PM and by the time I got home (8min drive) I... realized the food was ANCIENT. The kabob is so dry you nearly choke trying to swallow it, the rice is too. Everything wasfreezing cold and disgusting. This food is atrocious and I can't recommend you avoid it any more sternly. I ate here the past two weekends. First weekend I ordered the lamb kabab meal and last weekend I ordered it with steak. We... ordered the stuffed grape leaves too. Everything was so fresh and tasty.
