The atmosphere is very chill and the service was great. We had the chicken loaded french fries for appetizer and St. Louis ribs... with a side of house sweet potato chips and okra for our main. The house chips were not crisp. The ribs were good, but I havehad better. The barbecue sauces were ok. We liked the fries. The highlight of the dinner was my cocktail Bee's Knees. We got here around 8 PM and the line was still a little long but it moved fast we were lucky enough that someone gave us a $15... gift card on their way out. The food came in 10 minutes and I ordered three different wings but they gave us only 1 flavor .They easily fixed the issue and even gave us extra wings. The burnt ends were the mac & cheese was super delicious. The pulledchicken was OK but juicy. The sauces were not really needed and the wings were very flavorful. Very good BBQ at reasonable prices. I got the 3 meat with Alice brisket, pulled pork and pork ribs. The meat was super tender... and great variety of sauces. The Brunswick stew was very good. Some tasty barbecue here! I wasn't a fan of the sauces, so I ate my food without them, but they didn't need it! The pulled pork... was succulent and flavorful enough. Best wings ever! The brisket was soooooo tender and juicy. It didn?t even need any sauces! Everything we put in our mouths was... delicious! Such creamy Mac and cheese! This is one of the best BBQ places in Asheville. If you are a BBQ fan, you can?t miss its super delicious pork ribs and beef... briskets! Home cooking style side dishes are amazing too! Brunswick stew is a must have as well as the green beans. Even thefries are well made. Luella also offers gluten free and vegan choice menu for customers who love bbq but have food restrictions. Really nice place to grab a quick bite. Staff and Owner/Manger is wonderful. The food is great all beside the Mac and Cheese... and the Bisket was a little dry. But the flavors were great. The best Ribs I've ever had. I highly recommend. Read more
This bbq spot came highly recommended by the locals! It was delicious!! I got the pulled pork with the house sweet potato chips... and tried a few different bbq sauces - all delicious with tons of flavor! Stop what you're doing and go there now!!
