Pleasant experience. The burgers all sounded unique and interesting, and the one I chose delivered on that. The pork belly,... kimchi, and pickled vegetables were all quite tasty. Our server was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The down side was theportion size of the apps. Each one we ordered was really a portion for one. We are not big eaters, but we had two apps and anentree each. We finished all our food, headed home and had room for a snack and dessert. With prices ranging from $10-20 weexpected more. The ceviche was not good, it lacked flavor and quality. Everything else we ordered we would order again. Read more

The place smelled of wet rag. The oysters were good. The tuna tataki was mediocre - taste wise, good. Presentation and overall... dish was eh. It looked like they just threw the food on the plate. This was the first tuna tataki that didn?t come in a bed ofveggies. The soup of the day was overwhelmingly salty that we had to return it. The sword fish wasn?t bad at all, just not worthit for the serving size. We went somewhere else for dinner after dining here. Read more

Awesome experience. The oysters were fresh and tasty, the entrees were delectable, and the service unbeatable. We had the... swordfish and the catch of the day. Both meals were light but filling, full of flavor, and well presented. Read more

I enjoyed our meal here. I was happily surprised by the decor and atmosphere given its location. The service was attentive but... not fussy. The food was good for the most part. The seafood chowder had plenty of seafood, and was a nice change from thepotato based creamy chowders that are more common. The mushroom appetizer was excellent, the crispy onions gave it depth oftexture and added a nice flavor component. The scallop appetizer had a tart sauce that was a nice counterpoint to the sweetnessof the sea scallops. The lobster on top of the burger was tasty and was a great topper to a well cooked (rare-ish, as requested)burger. The only disappointment of the meal was the frisee salad. I have eaten a version of this salad in quite a few frenchthemed restaurants, and the bitterness of the frisee, combined with the richness of the lardons and egg yolk that coats thegreens are integral parts of how this salad comes together. I have generally seen this served with a poached egg, and sincethere was already a poached egg served on another dish, I asked if they might poach the egg instead of fry it. Our serverbasically told me she didn't think the chef would do it because it was more work to poach the egg. I asked her to inquire if itwas possible, and I never got a response until the salad was delivered. Not only was the egg fried, but it was fried overmedium at least. I wished I had been given the option of an upcharge to cover their extra time and effort at least. Thisabsolutely did not ruin the evening, the rest of the meal was good enough to make up for that one glitch. Read more

What a gem! I was blown away by quality, service and overall experience. The chef did such an amazing job and the dishes rival... any upscale restaurant in Asheville. I felt prices were fair and comparable to other restaurants of this caliber. I had actuallyeaten lunch at Curate earlier in the day and my dinner at Little Pearl was better! Such a great little find, I will absolutelyreturn. Read more
