This was the highlight of my day! I love tea and have been drinking it since I was just a little kid (because sleepy time was... basically the melatonin of my generation). I switched to loose leaf teas about ten years ago and drink lots of tea or manyvarieties every day. Can I just tell you? I learned SO much doing the tea tasting! If you?ve ever done a wine, whiskey, orother high end craft beverage tasting you know it can sometimes get a little pretentious, and this did NOT! The team was sowelcoming and genuine and enthusiastic it made everything seem approachable and delightful. I enjoyed a couple varieties ofoolong which provided surprising flavor differences, a red (or black) tea, a 16 year aged puehr tea, and about a gallon (j/k butit was a lot) of the Siberian rose tea. I have a much deeper appreciation for the teas I have at home in my tea cabinet and nowunderstand different ways to get more out of those leaves and flowers. I?m really sorry for all of the tea I?ve mistreated withscorching or overstepping or not rinsing before and I?m thrilled to see how incorporating just a few of these processes willchange the experience. I really loved this and can?t recommend it enough. I also had an expertly made matcha before I left andpicked up 4oz of my favorite brew of the afternoon. Tragically I didn?t try any of the food this visit and was too busy at thetasting room to enjoy the lovely, plant-draped, sun-flooded lounge area. Alas, I?ll have to come back for another visit. Thanksso much! Read more

I was looking for unique things to do in Asheville since I?d already been there and had done all the touristy stuff. This was... exactly what I was looking for. Such a unique, fun experience. We had such a great time doing the tea flight. The owner is sopassionate about his job and the quality of his products. The atmosphere of the tea shop is perfection, beautiful and natural. The teas we tried on the flight were all great. The owner goes into detail about the best ways to prepare them, what they?recomposed of, and where they can be found. We will be back to try the food next time! Read more

This tea shop was DELIGHTFUL with a lot of choices to pick from. We tried the Blue People Ginseng which was an oolong tea with a... subtle sweet licorice taste and the Jasmine Pearl tea. Both were delicious and I ended up buying 4oz of the Blue People Ginsengfor ~$30. We were told they were not serving food when we arrived so that was a little sad, but I would still recommend going! This place was an extremely pleasant surprise. Came here on a whim, Hunter took my girlfriend and I on a very satisfying and... information filled tea ride. The tea flight was worth it and is done in the bar area. I definitely recommend it whether you arenew or experienced to teas. There are so so many teas! The service here is very welcoming and friendly. Everyone was nice andthe teas are great. They really do all taste different and the prices are very reasonable too! Read more

This place has been drawing me in as a little sanctuary jewel downtown since they opened. Beautiful place, wonderful food,... sweetest employees...a true tea house that you just can't find often here in the states. The owner is involved everyday, this ishis passion, and it shows. In every aspect. Hands down one of my fav spots I take friends immediately when they visit. If youcrave a salad, their tea leaf sald is the best salad I've ever had. Their Shitake soup is divine. So grateful this place exists. Read more

Their food is delicious, so flavourful, fresh and beautifully presented - clearly madewith a lot of love. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the decor is gorgeous. I loved all the plants. The staff are absolutelylovely, so warm and friendly - and experts in what they do - great guides through your tea experience. Can't wait to go backagain. Read more
