Reviews for Grey Eagle Taqueria in Asheville, NC
Got the Mexican street corn and batata taco. Both were delicious. Corn could use a little bit more spice on it but grilled... perfectly with just the right amount of cheese and mayo. Batata taco was delicious. Went for lunch and sat outside. Read more
Good-ish, not great. This place also doubles as a concert venue on certain nights?something worth checking out.
What a fun night out! We arrived early for a Shawn James show not knowing what to expect. We were greeted by a friendly owner,... friendly wait staff at the Taqueria, friendly bartender, and the band performing a sound check! BONUS!! The quesadilla andnachos were filled with flavor and the cocktails were easy to order with virtually no wait throughout the evening. Great littlevenue hidden in the River Arts District. Read more
The brisket tacos are highly recommended. I was not a fan of the $5 each taco price but it's Ashville. The vibe was awesome and... will definitely be back. They have a decent selection of drinks. I grabbed a beer and my sister got a frozen blended daiquiri. She really liked it. Read more
Fresh food with traditional and signature offerings - flavors are pronounced and well-balanced. Nice outdoor patio area. Good... beverage list with a good variety of selections. Service is fast and friendly. No table service for lunch/pick your boot up atthe counter and busier on table afterwards. Read more

Asheville's oldest live venue is still going strong for a good reason. The Grey Eagle is a great place to see smaller, up and... coming bands and also older bands that draw a smaller crowd but are still on the road doing their thing. The food is good andtheir rotating beer selection always provides something for everyones taste. If things are feeling cramped and you need somefresh air, the enclosed patio (with live monitor of the show inside) is a good place to retreat to. I have seen SEVERAL show atthe Eagle and I'm always keeping an out out for the show that peaks my interest. Read more
