Reviews for Farm Dogs in Asheville, NC
Expensive hot dog that doesn’t taste very good. 50 cents extra for scarce toppings.
The farm dog was exactly what I was craving. To respond to everyone else’s comments— yes it tastes like a fairly regular Hot... Dog but you’re paying for the locally sourced meat. I was glad to support local. Anyway I enjoyed my Hot Dog with house madelemonade. I went back for the pretzel bites. They were pretty bland but next time I’d like to try them with the cheese fromHighland Brewing. The service was great. The woman running the stand even refilled my lemonade before I left. Service was greatand fast. I will definitely be eating there again Read more
Pretty disappointing. It\'s a great concept but just poorly executed. The hotdogs were just basic small gas station style... hotdogs and both of our buns were stale. I asked if there were any toppings and the employee just gestured and said anything onthe menu. The beer cheese which was $3 extra was gross.... I\'m not sure if it was old or not heated correctly. It was theconsistency of sour cream and tasted like nothing. We spent $32 on 2 hotdogs and 3 (very small)pretzel knots. Definitely left alittle disgruntled and upset. I actually have always loved farm burger so I was super excited to try farm dogs ... but this waymissed the mark. ???? Read more
I had the farm dog and the blunt warm pretzel knots. The farm dog was nothing special and I wouldn\'t order it again. The... pretzel knots were pretty good, turned excellent with the Lusty Monk Mustard but too pricey for casual food hall snacks. Thefood all itself is pretty cool and has a good environment. Read more
Great hotdogs and pretzel bits. This is located in the new S&W food Hall.
I didn\'t think you could ever mess up a hot dog, but this place did. My hot dog was cold and tough. The chili is really... unappetizing with whatever pulled meat is in it. It just was not any good. Read more
Delicious! Locally sourced meats, locally made dogs. The staff was friendly. Located inside of s&w food hall. The food hall is... kind of like a fancy food court. There are other eateries but if you enjoy a good chili cheese dog definitely check this out. Read more
We had the Farm Brat, the Farm Dog, and soft pretzel knots. The sauerkraut on the brat was zingy and delicious. The hot dog in... the farm dog had an excellent flavor on its own but was elevated with the savory chili plus the pop of pizazz from the greentomato chow chow. All the different flavors worked together to make a wonderful symphony of flavors for a hot dog! The spicymustard for the pretzel had what appeared to be horseradish in it which was excellent. Just be aware before you take atremendous bite of the mustard...it hits hard similar to the effervescent punch from Wassabi.\n\nWe took our food upstairs andenjoyed beer alongside our food. Read more
