Stopped in for a late lunch, tried the blta grilled chicken salad. Everything tasted fresh. Nice balance of greens with the... other bits and pieces of bacon, avocado, tomatoes, and chicken. It was a cute place with great tin ceiling tiles. They serve thefull menu all day. Decent selection of breakfast, sandwiches and salads. Staff was friendly and helpful. Interesting take on breakfast. Overall food was good. They had mimosa flights and bloody Marys that looked good but 9:30 was a... bit early. I got the home fries, which are not fries at all but quarteredand roasted new potatoes with seasoning. Not bad. The two eggs were very petite but good. I ordered crispy bacon, which wasnowhere near crispy, but the flavor of the bacon was good. I would have sent it back, but the service was slow anddisinterested, and I didn't want to wait. I was fairly impressed with Early Girl Eatery. My party stopped in for breakfast. There was a 15 minute wait which is fair for a... popular breakfast restaurant on a Sunday. The vibe here is decent, as well. I was a bit thrown off by the portion size Ireceived. It wasn't particularly small, but for the price and what was supposed to be included it felt a smidge on the lightside. However, the quality was there. Wonderful flavors and a nice blend of different textures. The service seemed a bitchaotic. We had three different people come by our table at random times and none of them seemed to know who our server was.It's a busy place, so it's reasonable that these things happen. The food came out fairly quickly and the tea I ordered wasbetter than regular store bought. I would definitely try this place again, maybe on a day/time where they likely wouldn't be asbusy. Read more
