Service was great, but food was not. We got the "dinner for the table" option which comes with an appetizer sampling, one pasta... dish, an entree, and a dessert. None of the appetizers had thoughtful or layered flavors. Most of them just tasted like variousgreens with too much salt or olive oil, with a texture that didn't make up for the lack of flavor, and most of them left a badtaste behind. The pasta (for two people) was three room temperature ravioli. This would have been okay if the flavors blew usaway, but they were just "fine," and the ravioli could've been cooked longer. The main course was a small swordfish steak, whichwas good, but only "good." It was cooked okay, but you come to restaurants like this to experience flavors that you neverwould've experienced otherwise. This, I could have easily made at home, and would've gotten bigger portions. The dessert wasalso nothing to write home about. At $100 a plate (including tip), this was a pretty big disappointment. We've eaten at manyhigh-end restaurants in the past so we know what to expect, and this particular one did not deliver that. Read more
I’ve been here twice now, once in the summer and now in the fall. Both times have been absolutely outstanding. The coursing,... menu variety, freshness, simplicity, flavor, service, attention to detail—everything—was spot on. We loved everything we ateand plan on returning again and again. We dined for a celebration and the staff was attentive to that, too, bringing us aspecial dessert. We love y’all! Read more
I would really give it like 4.8 but 5 is as close as we can get here. It was delish! Tasting menu is absolutely worth it to try... all the first courses. The only bummer was you only pick one 2nd course for the table and not multiple to share. That isliterally the only fault (not having more deliciousness). The staff was really friendly too! Read more
Truly memorable dining experience. We opted for the "dining for the table" experience. I'm glad we did as we were served... things we may not have otherwise ordered. The cabbage dish for instance turned out to be one of my favorite dishes. We ate atthe bar and it was fun to watch the chefs at work. Read more
We love to eat and Cuchina 24 fit our taste. Since we are still in the Omicron phase the restaurant made sure all guests are... vaccinated and we had to show our vaccination cards and wear masks until we sat down. Staff was masked during the entire visit.We were very well taken care of by our waiter and other staff. They also were very accommodating about me allergies. A5-course menu Italien inspired and the wine tasting were a delight. We missed that the dessert wasn’t included in the winetasting and would recommend to add it to the wine tasting. Tasting menu is insanely good, way beyond expectations. Dishes are definitely Michelin level quality in terms of taste,... authenticity and creativity. Hard to imagine they only charge 60 per person. Wine pairing is great too, the sommelier is veryknowledgeable and passionate about what he’s doing. Read more
We had an excellent meal here. This restaurant was recommended to us by some of staff at the Hotel and we are glad we made the... trip. The staff at this restaurant is great. They made is feel welcome as soon as we walked in. Our server explained everythingon the menu so well that we didn't have any questions. The meal was 5 courses and we had our choice of Entrees. The rest of themeal was set. You can see the menu online as it changes consistently with the availability of different ingredients. The troutentree I had was one of the best pieces of fish I had eaten in a while. The courses are spaced accordingly and we never feltrushed. We were definitely full after the meal ended. A wonderful high end romantic dining experience. My wife and I wanted a nice Italian restaurant on our vacation in Asheville. I... made a reservation about a week prior on their website, based on online recommendations. The staff was very friendly andknowledgeable of the rotating menu.
