We stopped in since we were running errands nearby. Good lunch spot. Staff was friendly & attentive. Food was delicious.... Everything we ordered was fried - seems like most of the menu items are fried. Generous portions. Someone in another reviewmentioned lack of silverware & I can confirm we weren?t offered any but we had sandwiches. If I remember correctly there is aroll of paper towels on the tables. Read more
Nice seafood restaurant, we had a great waitress by the name of Kendra. She was very attentive and even made sure we didn't... forget our credit cards. Clam chowder is very good at the shrimp cocktail is served on a heap of ice. Pretty expensive, niceplace for a place to treat yourself. Thai tea too!! Read more
Seafood Lovers like me, this Crab Du Jour is a place to be to have Lunch or dinner. I got Lobster Po Boy and and my husband had... the Seafood Pasta and we had seafood gumbo for a starter. This is my first time trying thus new restaurant and I AM PLEASED! The food was exceptional! The flavor was so tasty my mouth is... still watering. Came here tonight to celebrate a joint-birthday with friends, and WOW. We had a party of 7 and had to wait about 30 minutes for... a table (which is honestly not terrible when it comes to restaurants in Asheville), and the hostess was very polite and kept usup-to-date on the table situation. We ordered the Crab Du Jour Feast to share between the 7 of us, and it was still too muchfood to eat in one sitting! The seafood was delicious, and the Du Jour sauce was perfect on everything. Our waitress was veryquick to offer refills and bring us what we needed, even with other busy tables in her section. Many wait-staff stopped by tocrack jokes, and it was obvious the environment there is lighthearted and fun. The manager even stopped by the table at the endof our meal to ask how things were and crack some jokes with us, as well. 10/10, if you're looking for seafood in Asheville,THIS is the place you want to go. How to finish a long day of traveling?? With a nice dinner of course! Found this place close to my hotel.
