Really enjoyed the City Bakery. Ate there twice in our short stay. Nice staff, great food and quickly served.

Came here for the first time this morning after working another 12+ shift at the hospital after seeing their loaves of breads... locally. After being exhausted from work I was SO SO happy to have the best biscuit I?ve ever had in my life to eat. Willgladly be returning here frequently just hope to have a different front desk cashier as the one who checked me out was notfriendly at all. I would think after me buying 2 muffins, a cinnamon roll, a pop tart, a biscuit, and a drink, she could atleast smile and say ?have a nice day? but maybe it?s best to place order online. Read more
We had two delicious breakfast sandwiches w/ sausage and cheese. Their homemade biscuits are unbelievable and the everything... bagel was the PERFECT texture(IMO). Also, the local orange juice they were selling was just the right mix of sweet and tangy. Read more

My wife and I visited Asheville the week after getting married. It was kind of a preamble to a real honeymoon. We discovered... the City Bakery and made a point of having breakfast there every morning. The service is good and their employees are friendly.
