Had just an ok experience. On the pro side ? we had an absolutely wonderful server. I wish I had noted her name because she was... kind and attentive! I ordered steak and it was done perfectly and tasted delicious! My companion ordered fish and it was alsotasty! On the con side ? we both had Caesar salads and wow, they were so drenched in dressing we couldn?t eat them. We pickedthrough searching for lettuce that wasn?t covered in dressing. We barely picked at them. Not tasty. And the drinks were thebiggest disappointment?I had sangria and my companion ordered margarita. We came here for the first time and we were not quite sure what to expect. The inside is very fancy looking, but the menu is... very similar to Cracker Barrel?s. I would say the food is definitely better! We were given a honey butter croissant to start outwith, and they were very interesting. Plenty of honey butter was drizzled onto the croissant, so it was flavorful and thecroissant was crispy. I tot the No. 8 Special Chicken Tender platter, but I didn?t want fries, I got the loaded baked potatoinstead. I was told that I could get another side instead of the coleslaw, so I got the fresh steamed broccoli as well. I alsogot a raspberry iced tea, which had good flavor and was refreshing. Chianne was our server and she was very sweet. I wassurprised to see that I hadn?t been charged extra for substituting my sides, so that was a big plus. I found the meal to be veryfilling for the price. I also liked the fish tank that they had near the restrooms. The fish are clearly taken care of wellhere, which makes me happy! The croissants are warm and delicious. I ordered the ribeye steaks and my kids and husband the sirloin. Both were good.
Great service, great alcoholic beverages, and delightful decor. Our waitress was very attentive and sweet. She was also great at... time management. However, prices were a little high for plate quantity and quality. A normal spiked strawberry lemonade was$7.49 and was not very strong (but delicious!). The grilled shrimp were not properly cleaned (not even deveined) or cooked well.They were also frozen which doesn't necessarily mean bad, but they definitely had a fishy smell. Read more
