Do not go here! 20$ for a plate of lunch meat heated up in an oven to make it dry. Got there and were the only people there only... to have to guys come in 20minutes after us and get served before us. Then after a 30+ minute wait we get our meals. My wife?sbrisket was 3 strips of fat and way over salted fries. My 1lb of ?smoke daily? turkey was a pack of lunch meat! The one spoonfull of 4& greens was the best part. Update: Went back a second time and the brisket was cooked much better. Enjoyed the meal First time here, tried the brisket... plate. Brisket was extremely dry and overcooked. There was no pink in the meat or flop when picking it up to show moisture. Thebark was pretty thin. The fried okra side was good and it's saving grace. Previous Google reviews and photos looked better,willing to go back and try this place again. Possibly with staffing shortages they're not bringing their A game and not smokingas much fresh brisket but still, no reason it should be overcooked by this much. Read more
Things have changed at Bonfire with new management. Dining room is half the size & menu has changed a bit. My first time here... since Covid. Used to be a hopping place, but was dead on a Friday night. They were out of some things, but the service was good& we were happy with our meal. BBQ pork was tender & good selection of sauces from around the region. They seem to be focusedmostly on catering & carry out these days. Plenty of free parking. Read more
Decided to try and take advantage of my upside app offer. The food was good, the service was fast and accommodating. Only... thing we did not like were our iced teas. They tasted old. Both the sweet, and unsweetened. It had a very rustic feel to it. Oh! Could of done without the cobwebs also. Read more
Definitely the worst food I've had in my life. I prefer a cold McDonalds BigMac over this. I got the ribs. They were cold and... tough. My order was to go and since there were some people in the restaurant, I thought that was a good indicator that the foodwould be fresh. Boy was I wrong. The food I'd poorly seasoned of at all. My sides were the Mac casserole and the street corn.The 2 hush puppies were hard like marbles and the only thing that tasted good was my coke drink. When I went back to work withthe food I was told that i shouldn't have went there because the place had gone downhill. I wish I wouldn't have wasted my $25. Read more
Staff was very nice. Food was just ok. My husband got ribs and they were really tough. I got the Cuban sandwich and it was... pretty good. I almost spilled my drink because the table was wobbly. Really cool decor but the napkin holder extremely dusty andmade me sneeze the entire meal. Read more
The pulled pork was a little greasy but it is pork. The tater tots were the star of the show, their in-house barbecue sauce is... strongly catch up a based so ask for something in addition to it. Hopefully your hush puppies aren't like the ones I got. Theywere like mini cannon balls. Service was great and there's darn sure no crowd there so in and out. I'm not sure how there are good reviews of this place. I must have gotten a really bad cook. The brisket had no aroma, no rub,... and tasted like heavily boiled beef. No flavor WHATSOEVER. I couldn't quite believe that it was brisket. The ribs were dry,tough and flavorless like they had been microwaved. I also got hushpuppies; their flavor wasn't bad, though again they werejust dry. It's unfortunate we live a ways away, or I would have brought this back. It ended up dog food. Read more
