One of 2 Restaurants in the hotel, with a bar / chill out area. Super friendly bartenders and creative drinks. No reservation... but they allowed us to sit after around 15 minutes which was nice. Food was okay, so much garlic in the greens ???? it wasspicy. Server kind of reduced the rating, he did not want to be there and really showed no interest beyond a ordertaker. Drops dessert and check before offering to take any food items and then sits around and talks after rushing the checkwhile we tried to accommodate moving on with the service. Pizza was okay, bread was really nice. The cheese was a littleaggressive and cheese board wasn’t bad. Falafel was less than room temp and the paste average. I would say make reservationsat another local spot. Felt like you were eating at an ikea and the tables were so large you practically were yelling totalk. Dj in the other room comes in around 9 Read more

We had a wonderful meal and outstanding service during our first visit to Bargello. Our main server was Devon and she was... knowledgeable, cheerful and attentive. She was supported by the other servers, as well, which made for an excellent serviceexperience overall. We started with the Halloumi Salad which was fabulous! We also enjoyed the small plate of grilled Spanishoctopus and the bouillabaisse pasta, which we would both order again. Truly a memorable experience. Read more

Within the hotel, ate here for brunch. Big portions and great cooking - ordered avocado on toast, lamb on toast with feta and... butternut squash, and short rib hash, which were all very tasty. Read more

My husband and I had breakfast here and absolutely loved it. My husband got freshly squeezed orange juice and the Bargello... breakfast. I got black coffee and Eggs Florentine. It was very filling and very tasty. The staff was very friendly, too. Highlyrecommend this place. This restaurant is very nice. Read more

Let's say the food quality and composition doesn't match the price. In Asheville we have amazing food options. So when the... price is relatively high, over $100 for 2 people, you expect the food and service to be on point. Well the service was onpoint. However the food wasn't really anything special. I can think of many different places in Asheville that have betterthought out dishes than Bargello at a third of the price. Now my chief complaint and my number one tip: The both tables have tobe the absolute most uncomfortable setting arrangement humanly possible to create. I think the chef and waitstaff should sitdown for an hour and then come up with creative ways to fix this serious problem. Read more

While staying at the attached hotel my wife and I tried to go down to the lobby to get dinner and were immediately punched in... the eardrums by a live band whose sound was mixed waaaay too hot. I literally had to yell to her standing next to me for her tohear. We like live music, but was not expecting to be accosted the moment we stepped off the elevator.. We opted to return tothe room and order online for room service for this reason Online order platform is a joke. Dishes include no description, just the dishes name. How am I to know what is on a medditeranian vegetable pizza? Had to look up the menu and then return tothe ordering platform to make a decision. Received the food rather quickly, which included the cacio e pepe and a maiale pizza. My wife enjoyed the pasta, but said it was nothing special considering the cost. We've had table side alfredo at otherestablishments for nearly the same price and a better end product. The pizza was laughable, though. Upon opening the box I wassurprised to see what looked like a personal pizza for nearly $20. Picking up a piece resulted in every bit of topping to slideoff of the underlying crust. The taste was okay, but had to be eaten as a "deconstructed" pizza. Overall was not impressedwith the quality of food to price ratio. Unable to comment on waitstaff, due to room service. Live entertainment could havebeen nice, had it not almost left us deaf. Read more
