Driving up the place looks like a definite hole in the wall, which got me excited. But then I walked in the door and my thought... was oh no what did I do. I go to lots of different buffets all over the area and this is definitely... the best one I really try hard to provide good quality food and the owner and people work here really go above and beyond tryingto take care of you. Friendly staff!!! We went at 3:30 so we skipped the buffet and just ordered off the menu.. very reasonable prices and lots of... good hot food! And the egg rolls were to die for if you order them off the menu they were $0.99 each! I could have just ate fourof those and been happy! First time customer from out of town. I came here for lunch after visiting The Billy Graham Training Center (The Cove). The Tom... Yum soup was my favorite!! It tasted delicious! I really enjoyed their Singapore Mei Fun noodles with vegetables, and avegetable egg roll. This buffet had plenty of vegetarian choices to pick from (you may have to pick out the vegetable portionyou want out of a meat dish. For example: I ate the veggies from the Tom Yum soup, but did not select the chicken within thesoup). This buffet also had dessert options. I enjoyed their banana pudding and jello. The customer service was friendly. Theprice of my meal was great! It was an inexpensive price for good quality food that tasted delicious. If I am ever here again onvacation I would enjoy coming here again. If this restaurant was in my hometown (in FL), I would eat here on a weekly basis! Ihad a great experience. Honestly I'm surprised. Given the lack of good Chinese food in Asheville, my expectations were low. I'm not blown away or... anything, but this place was better than I was expecting. They offer a buffet, which you can get to go - just ask the hostessfor a box. Fill the box, or multiple boxes, and they'll charge you by weight. I left with a full box (pictures) for under $10including tip. Nothing blew me away, but the crispy things were crispy and the soft things were soft, and the seasoning madethe thing taste like the thing. Even the tofu was pleasant. Just make sure to get all the accompanying sauces / dips. If you'reok with Panda Express, you'll be ok with this place. If you're ok eating inside, it's a no brainer for value. Read more
Had the lunch buffet. They had some good dishes & a few average ones. I've never seen tofu in egg drop until here, why add tofu?... It adds nothing to the soup but soft slimy...That's something that could be in a plate to add to your soup if you want it. Theyhad some Thai dishes that were delicious & the egg roll was surprisingly good to only have cabbage in it. It hard to find greatChinese egg rolls in the South w/pork & shrimp & whatever else they use in NYC. I'd go back again. Read more
I really enjoy Chinese/Asian food. This little place serves this type of food on a buffet. The reason I give this a 2 for the... food is due to the fact that it is all chicken with 2 options of pork. No sushi, not even one kind. Don't get me wrong, the foodis tasty, and chicken is good but I would expect a little more variety. Read more
