Best breakfast I have had on the west side since we moved here in January. Everything, including the toast, tasted very good! As... well, best service ever by our server 'Miranda'. She was on top of everything, all the time. Didn't need to ask for anything.She was like lightning. And great to talk to! I wish her all the best in anything she does. Read more
We were driving through Asheville and looking for a late breakfast or lunch spot. This place was great choice. We were seated... right away. The server was friendly and service good. Eggs Benedict is one of our favs and this recipe was a bit different thanthe traditional but still good. The cinnamon roll French toast was exceptional, if you want something rich, sweet and filling. Alarge portion and enough to share for sure. We also ordered the sweet sausage which was a definite reorder. My hubby loved itand it wasn?t too sweet. We are glad we stopped and will again some day. We waited for a patio seat for 45 min while there were plenty of empty tables inside and outside. The food was alright, but the... bloody Mary?s were excellent. It?s hard not to expect more after waiting for that long and the prices being what they are. Thatbeing said, our server Camden was awesome! She was helpful and prompt and made the experience better! For how expensive this place is, the portions were small. The city grits were $7.. the cup was pretty small but they were good.... The chicken sausage was o.k. The eggs were good. The pancakes themselves were pretty good HOWEVER I ordered chocolate chips andsomehow they thought putting the chips in a cup was a good idea?? I?ve never seen that. I ordered take out so by itself thatwasn?t a true choc chip pancake and they melted because the bag was warm. Lame. They?re supposed to be throughout the pancake..especially for the price. Overall the food was pretty good but I?d recommend dining in. And it was pricey. Read more
Second time here while visiting family in Arden.Our server Nancy was super friendly and professional. We sat outside on the... patio. Great omelettes but what really impressed us was the fruit cups that came as a side order with breakfast. Freshstrawberries, blueberries some watermelon and I could not believe the mango! No day old melon in this fruit cup. I?ve never hadmango in a fruit cup except maybe in Asia.Kudos to the manger and or cook to decide to use mangos in a side order. Lots ofparking available.
