Had dinner at Una Mas for the second time here tonight with my daughter. The food was so great and the portion size was very... generous. But more than that was our service. Our server named Abel was amazing. He was a very kind, respectful and attentiveyoung man that thought of everything we might need even before we needed it. He packed away our leftovers for us and bagged iteven, without us even asking. He made sure we had the best service and it truly was the best service I've ever received in anyrestaurant in my life. La Hacienda is my typical Mexican joint I go to in Asheboro but decided to try this and it was really good. The portions were... fine, flavor lacked just a BIT In compared to La Ha. I'd come again as a back up. For asheboro this is good Mexican food. Thecushion that I was sitting on in the booth wasn't secured and lifted, no biggie. Just something they need to address. First time trying Una Mas. We called in a Togo order. They don't take your name or anything so make sure you know what you... ordered when you get there. The restaurant is easy to access and is newly renovated. The inside decor has a couple of muralsbut overall is very clean. The food is good. My tacos were great and don't taste like other Mexican restaurants in Asheborowhich is good. They are unique. The rice tasted a bit bland and the cheese is rich. The sauces that came with the plates werereally tasty. We will definitely eat here again to try more of the menu. Read more
