Average at best. Popcorn shrimp was good but everything else was flavorless and not crispy for fried seafood. Even the potato... wedges were trash, half burned on the bottoms and hard as a result. Shameless. I've been to other Mayflower restaurants andthis one was a bad example of one. Read more

The owner cut the size of the Sr. plates but not the price. The slaw taste different from before. The food was good. But the cashier was very rude!!! As far as I know, she is the manager's niece. My husband and I walked in,... that woman was not friendly at all....she took us to the table but we wanted to sit by a different table. All we said nicely was"Could we sit at that table?" (Just a table next to the one she took us.) Guess what, she rolled her eyes, made a face andslammed the menu on that table and walked away. I SWEAR I WAS NOT EXAGGERATING!!!! What a terrible attitude!! We didn't comehere for that attitude. We are the customers, not someone who owe you money. It really killed our appetite. Our waitress was not very attentive at all. She took our order and didn?t come back until the food was served. Our table had to... refill our own drinks, ask multiple times for silverware, condiments, etc. Once our checks were brought out, we were notified ofa 20% tip added to our party. Our service was far from being worth 20%. The lady at the cash register offered no resolutioneither after being advised that the service wasn?t good at all. Read more

Not going to this restaurant anymore, just visited Friday night and ordered hot tea and was brought tea barely warm in a tall... styrofoam cup. Ordered the fried oyster platter and received 10 oysters and about four hush puppies. The last time I wasthere received much more and that was about a year ago. We went here to the Mayflower Seafood Restaurant in Asheboro and the food was delicious and the service was great. The walls I... found out was done by a school teacher in WV. She from what I was told did it all by hand and it is beautiful. So if you get achance to go the service is great and the food is awesome and I fell in love with the place. Read more
