Place was super busy as usual and short staffed as usual. One girl was making drinks while another ran food. The food girl... dropped and broke something outside, so she had to clean and replace it. Instead of the owner jumping in to lend a hand doingvirtually *anything*, he reprimanded this poor girl in front of a full house of customers, then went outside to continue to sipon his whiskey. What a total disappointment in "leadership". It's no wonder there is such a high turnover in employees. Thegelato is tasty, but not good enough to support that type of ownership. Read more
Lola?s is my favorite spot on Cookman. The soundtrack always pleases, as do the cocktails. We come on Sunday?s for mimosas after... the Asbury Market and late night for dessert and in between for the best cocktails. The outdoor seating is comfy too. Read more

What a great place!!! Friendly staff?great food?and gelato like you?re in Italy!! Had the cheese and fruit board and a chicken... salad Panini. The presentation of the board was absolutely beautiful?and the chicken salad was also excellent! Coffee menu looksgreat?but too late for coffee?next time! The day I visited they were out of a few things like mozzarella. ???? And they do not have any kids optionswhich is a real bummer.
