We were very excited to eat here after seeing so many great reviews and we had to do a double take on the reviews after eating.... Nothing was fresh, the rice was? old at best and everything was so incredibly salty it was very hard to eat. Definitely won?t beback due to the quality. Waitress was nice but service was super slow even though it wasn?t busy. There are better options outthere for affordable Japanese food & sushi. Read more
Manager was helpful and friendly our waiter was not. He had a permanent "I don't want to be here" look on his face and tone in... his voice every time we interacted with him. Food was okay, they really really REALLY try to get you to spend more when youplace your order: white meat chicken, extra portions etc. Probably won't be going back if the waiters don't appreciate ourpatronage. The staff member who assisted me was very friendly but unfortunately this was some of the worst sushi I?ve had. I ordered the... shrimp tempura roll thru Uber eats. The rice was mushy and not prepared correctly; the shrimp was over fried; the roll had whattasted like parsley on it. Nope.One star for the friendly staff member. Read more
I absolutely love Kokoro! Really convenient Japanese food. My personal favorites are the Unagi bowl and the chicken curry. Their... onigiri is really great as well. If you want a tasty bowl of rice with meat, sauce, and veggies they got you. The staff herehas always been great to me. I also recently tried their drive through and was impressed at how fast it was considering themeals they have to make. I personally also really enjoy the cafeteria/bar layout of the restaurant itself. Read more
Been going here for a long time and always love it. Nice happy hour and very competitive prices on ramen. Especially since they... are cheaper than any other place but still give you TWO halves of the boiled egg. Love it. Beef Bowl, Salmon Bowl or Chicken Curry Bowl? So hard to decide at times. I do know however that when I want a quick dine in or... takeout experience for Asian food that doesn?t blow my budget, well, I go to Kokoro. I?ve been partaking here in Arvada for 22years and prior to that at their first location in South Denver. I like that they have their original offerings and yet havekept the other menu options current with dining trends such as Ramen Bowls, Sushi Rolls, vegetarian and vegan selections. Youcan also have Beer, Wine or Sake as well as standard beverages. Rack up points for a free meal by joining their reward club orstop by for some Happy Hour Specials. Order at the drive through should you not have time to stop or want to take some food tofamily or friends. The staff is friendly, fast and kind, some have been there since this location opened in Arvada, to me thatsays a lot about the owners and the food.
