Fish and chips are outstanding, NICE outdoor seating area, friendly staff. Absolutely worth a visit if you like fish and chips.... We will definitely come back. Updated review: had the pastie, which is an upper-midwest fave. Loved it (forgot photo ??),though I go for a bit more rutabaga at home. Company loved the cod, shepherds pie, and curry sauce. How many times have I driven by this little place on Arvada and never bothered to stop for a bite? Thank goodness my friend... suggested this place for dinner one evening! Really nicely cooked up fish (cod), sausage pastries, shepherd's pie, and steakfries-like chips. Clam chowder was excellent! Portions are plentiful, but the full dinner (6 pieces) seemed a bit pricey? Add inthe sides with drinks and you can spend a good amount... But the food is really delicious. Lots of seating throughout andoutside the restaurant. Good sized parking lot too. Recommended! Read more
Oh my gosh so cute big outdoor area I even got to bring my dog. The people are so friendly absolutely amazing the food was... phenomenal I had the scallops ice highly highly suggest giving them the fries were also great I wasn?t that impressed with thecoleslaw. Read more
Easy 5 start for this joint. To start, the place is adorable with a great atmosphere. Beatles playing, pictures of Winston... Churchill and the Queen, and of course the Union Jack Flag. Additionally, they have a beautiful outdoor seating area. It is aorder at the register type of place with self service drinks. I love that, I wish all restaurants didn't have servers. Thefood is wonderful, deep fried fish and nice hot chips. I got a full meal with drink for under $12. I'll be back, this is mykind of a spot. Read more

Got the combo this time. It was ok, don't care for tilapia in the mix. Quite greasy than I remember. Fries were good and the... food was hot which I really liked. Next time would just get fish or shrimp only. Staff was great and the place was clean andcozy. Read more

I have to say, this was my first trying the British cuisine. I ordered the meat pie meal with pork. I couldn't find any... difference between the one I got and one I can get frozen for a much cheaper price. I wish I could say something nice at leastabout the chips (fries). Unfortunately, it felt microwaved too. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt since I have onlyread nice things about them. But I didn't want to spend another $10. So I went the economical route and got the sausage rolls.That was even more of a disappointment. It was dripping oil onto the basket it came in. The only con is that the service wasfast. Probably because they just needed to microwave stuff rather than actually make it. I am never going back. Read more
