Like all the reviews down below ; I only left one star since i couldn?t leave any less. It was my boyfriend and I?s first time... going since it has opened and got a unwelcoming experience.The cashiers were very rude as we were ordering at the drive-thrumaking comments like ?this isn?t mcdonald?s; we only have regular and large? as well as getting to the window Claudia (anemployee) had made a comment to my boyfriend as she walked away saying ?smile?. I only gave 1 star because I couldn?t give less. I understand being busy, and I?ve had to wait before, but today was... ridiculous! I ordered a #3 nugget meal in the drive through. 3 cars in front of me and 1 person inside. It took 45 mins to getmy order!!!! AND I had to go inside to get it! The kid who looked like he was supposed to be in charge was wondering aroundlaughing and looking like he had nothing to do. 5 cars behind me got their food and left, while I still waiting, though they allhad been directed pulled off and wait, just as I had. Yall turned my mother in laws view around she said this is the best chicken ever. It was so fresh and hot. So definitely will... have returning customers. I always loved Popeyes really miss the cajun rice that's my only complaint lol. Read more
My first visit to Artesia Popeyes. Very disappointing overall. I sat in the drive thru for almost 15 minutes...with 3 cars in... front of me. Went inside to order...4 people eating, no line...stood there 5 min waiting for some tall kid in a blue shirt tonotice I was in line. Finally the most bland, unfriendly little gal from the drive up window took my order...waited 20 min afterthat. Looks like they are short staffed...and looks like they need an adult manager. Every employee I saw...looked bored, slowand unorganized. How sad. Oh yeah...the chicken...6 out of 10, slaw 4 out of 10...mac and cheese 5 out of 10. Read more
Never have I ever had such a terrible dining experience... my family and I stopped in for dinner before heading back to... Roswell... we should've just kept driving. We thought "Wow a Popeyes Chicken we gotta stop". We ordered for dine in and it tookover 40 minutes to get our food... what made it worse was the fact that people were coming in after us and walking out withtheir meals. I asked the worker what was taking so long and they were like oh snap ugh the filets are cooking up. When it wasfinally ready they had our meals in bags instead of a tray, then I had to go back a couple of times because of missing items(mashed potatoes, beans and rice sides). Now let's get to the interior... the dining area was oddly warm, the men's bathroom wasout of order, the dining tables were filthy with past customers food debris and it wasn't even a quarter filled with customers.Yet it looked like they had a full staff. The food was a low 2 on Stars because it didn't really impress... I just hopeRoswell's Popeyes Chicken is better. We've had Popeyes Chicken in other states so we know this is not making the standard. Chicken tenders were hard as a rock, and looked like they'd been under a heat lamp all day. Not sure how this is possible since... the store is always packed since it's new. I peeled off more than half the weight of the tenders in excess breading that was toohard to eat. The chicken inside was barely edible. Out of 3 strips, I feel like I maybe ate 1 total. Fries were fine. Popcornshrimp was fine, although not deveined. That's pretty much normal for popcorn shrimp this size though. All in all, not worththe hype and the long wait times. Well the first day went well in line but the cashier had problems with the entering my order in which case I understood but... after that the problem begin. I ordered a 4 piece spicy dark, but it was mixed. The chicken was cold or mediocre at best. Themash potatoes had very little gravy and it was a large. The guy who waited on me with several people helping him didn?trecognized that I also ordered a Cajun rice in which case they didn?t have. I ordered it to go but he pressed it for here. Thewoman who bagged my order was a bit confuse about bagging my order. Oh and I was the 3rd person in line. So for me the servicewas a blah because to many missteps in the very beginning. Worst service ever!! Not sure how this can be called a fast food restaurant when I spent almost 35 minutes in the drive through... and to still not be up at the window to get my food. So I got out of the car and went inside to pick it up and I still had towait about 15 minutes for someone to help me. Nobody seemed to know what they were doing. I was heading back to school that dayand had a 3 hour drive which was now putting me way behind schedule. Popeyes you should be ashamed of yourself. I will nevercome here again. Read more
