I wanted to try a new Chinese place and due to recommendations I decided to go. When I arrived the place was empty. The food was... ok did not taste fresh. My kids didn't eat much. The decor and the atmosphere is amazing. It could have been just that day so Iwill try again. I love to support Halal restaurants. Give it a try. Read more
This restaurant is very authentic and reminiscent of my childhood in Shanghai and visits to Xinjiang (Urumqi and Kashgar). The... traditional Uyghar dishes were amazing, so flavorful. The Big Plate Chicken is a must try for your first time, but make sure youorder in advance, takes 30 mins. Lamb is a staple in Xinjiang and the chef does an excellent job, not too gamey. Great experience. Service was prompt, even though they are in need of staff and looking to add actively. There are a lot of... choices on the menu. Everything we tried was wonderful. Mongolian beef, orange chicken, vegetable fried rice, lamb kabab and hotand sour soup. Everything has it's own unique taste. Everything looked and tasted fresh. This place is a diamond in the rough! It's family run, husband and wife, they are so nice and always welcoming. The food is... absolutely amazing! It's hard to say which dish is the best because anything you get is delicious! I recommend the big platechicken with noodles, the lamb skewers, salt and pepper fish. The big plate chicken is my favorite but limited, first come firstserve and takes roughly 30 mins to make. Call ahead to make sure it's available. Talking about the food is making me hungry! It's not cheap when compared to other subpar places, but it's worth it. They do have a Lunch Special. Theyhave hand-made noodles dishes and lamb with a 30 minute wait.
